Gillian's Foods Gluten Free Italian Bread Crumbs - 12 oz

In my opinion these are the best gluten free products on the market. I refuse to use any other. These just pass the taste test. Many years ago I called Gillians asking him why I could not find any of his products anywhere in stores to purchase. This was far back when gluten free products to purchase was nonexistent. Back when one could not purchase gluten free breads and barely any other gluten free products. This was back when we had to bake our own gluten free bread.This man wo owned Gillians, whose daughter had Celiac Disease, understood me and told me he was sorry about my diagnosis and wished he were able to help me but until that time comes when his products were in the market in all places he was sending me this package hoping it will help and wishing me success in the forthcoming years and hoping that gluten free foods will someday be able to be purchased in all stores. He sent me a package of all Gillians products he could get and these were sent to me at my home by Gillians and a total act of kindness toward a person he never met or knew.This was many years ago but I have never forgotten his gesture of kindness toward me and for the package he sent me that day so many years ago. That was out of his pocket and he sent such good gluten free things for me and without what he sent I have no idea what I would have done. I have never forgotten his kindful act of generosity toward me, a person he did not know. Now I buy nothing but Gillians because they are just a Class Act that cannot be followed. What he did for me happened many years ago and what he did are the small things in ones life that one never forgets and that kind act will remain with me until I die. Still it is sad that all stores do not carry Gillians but at least now one can buy from Gillians online. It is sad that even today so many years later stores still seem to find gluten free products unavailable.Still for us all who have Celiac Disease and always in search of and for all our gluten free endeavors and search for good gluten free products Gillians is just a Class Act in Gluten Free. How would he ever have known that his one single act of kindness of many years ago could have affected that person for the rest of their life?

These are the only bread crumbs that I buy anymore. Now even people who can't have gluten can still enjoy amazing homemade meatballs :)

I love making chicken cutlets dipped in egg, then into these bread crumbs and cooked up in a pan. Delicious! I had stopped making them years ago, due to avoiding gluten. Now I can enjoy them again, and with Italian Seasonings! Perfect!

Hi I decided to make my signature eggplant Parmesan dish for a friend of mine who needs to follow a gluten-free diet. We live in a small town in the Midwest and our local store didn't have many of the ingredients I needed. When these arrived they were in a plastic pint size container which was broken and half the contents had already Ben spilled. The product itself tasted just fine but as I later found out was available 25 miles away had a large grocery store for one for the price.

Love these bread crumbs. Best ones I have found with the flavor of “real” Italian bread crumbs. Makes my food crispy & flavorful.******I just wish Amazon would package them better. I purchased 3 they threw in a bag & one exploded all over the bag because of how they throw things all over the warehouse & trucks”***

I love the taste of these but the container came broken. I’m glad it was wrapped in plastic but it’s a bummer.

Not impressed. After a struggle to open the dumb container and spilling crumbs all over the counter, I am not impressed. A quick taste proved that this is just a so-so product. After breading chicken with it, I'm still not impressed. The producer needs to improve the packing - besides it is not even a recyclable plastic container.

This is my FAVORITE brand of gluten free Italian bread crumbs. I wish I could find them at a local store, but only available on Amazon, Thank Goodness for Amazon! I mostly use them for baked chicken, and to make meatballs. I'm going to try meatloaf next. I always put the container in the refrigerator after I open it, to keep it fresh longer. I've kept it for over 3 months, but I usually use it all up in the 1st months!
