Dad approves
I bought this for my father who, yes, has reverted to a flip phone. He is older and does not have the dexterity he wants sad. He has complained about every other case Iโve gotten him. This one seems to do the job. Helps him open the case easily and he doesnโt drop the phone as much.

Just what I needed.
I had no choice but to upgrade to an AT&T Cingular Flip IV, because gophone will no longer support 3G early next year. This is a slightly larger phone than my old ZTE Z222, but not overly so, and the larger keypad is easier to use.I keep my phone in my pocket rather than on my belt, and needed a soft case to give it some protection. Unlike the Z222, the Flip IV has a second display on the outside of the case. I am not a fan of that design, even though it is convenient to see what's happening without having to flip it open, because that display can be damaged by hard objects (such as keys or coins) in my pocket. This case has transparent plastic sheets that cover the outer display, inner display and keypad, which is what I wanted.I didn't need the belt hook, so I took a box cutter and cut out the hook. It is both sewn into the outer layer and riveted through it. I had to cut a chunk out of the outer layer, which left a hole. I expected that and didn't mind it, but the interior layer had adhesive, probably to keep the layers tight together, so I put a piece of transparent packing tape over the hole so I wouldn't feel anything sticky. This is probably not the usual way people would use the case. I could have left the hook on, but it made the phone more bulky in my pocket. This model has two snaps, which is better than a similar model I saw with one snap in the center in my view. The one snap model might end up with the edges curling after use. Don't try to force the case onto your phone too quickly or you may damage the phone. The case will stretch and fit properly after a little time, and then you can snug it down. Initially the phone won't fold over completely, but after the case stretches a little it will close. This product met my needs very well.

It works
It offers some protection from paint and sheetrock mud, etc., for my husband's phone. The case is very tight fitting and if you don't get it on just right it will interfere with the side buttons. The plastic "windows" aren't the greatest for clear viewing, but it's a flip phone...not a lot of options. I told my husband that when this phone breaks he's getting a smartphone. ๐คฃ

Good value, cheap quality
Good value, will do the job it needs, but for how long I am not sure. It has been 4-6 months since I ordered this. It is holding up at the moment, but I am starting to see some threads come loose.

It is a nice case cover BUT
It is a nice case cover and have always had this type But I now like the AT&T Cingular Flip 4, Protective Snap On Cove. I don't have to remove it from the belt.

It fits great.
The case is made for the phone. Its not a one size fits all, which I find great. It is made to open like the phone does so if you get a call just open it and talk. No need to pull the phone from the case. You can shoot photos' and charge the phone without taking it out of the case and all buttons are accessible also. Its sturdy on your belt too. The inside of the phone is also covered for protection and you use the phone without having to move the clear covering. Great for the price!
