So much better than a spam can.
Really happy with this press. Sure beats the washed out and cut spam can I've been using.Pros:-Easy to clean(no dishwasher so I hand wash)-Nothing sticks to it so the musubi slides right out-The mold is tight so nothing smooshes out of the gap as you press the riceCons:-None so far. Seems to be a well designed press.

Perfect way to make musubi
I genuinely love these molds. Who knew?! I saw a similar mold used in a food video on social media. Was instantly interested because I can not roll sushi/handrolls to save myself.Although pitched at musubi you can really use any filling you'd normally prefer for rolls. But in the spirit of musubi I've been experimenting with sushi rice, omnimeat luncheon (perfect fit in the mold!), Kewpie and black sesame seeds. Yum!I wasn't sure I'd need two molds but the great thing is I can cut a sheet of nori in half and use the two molds at the same time to evenly use up my ingredients.The molds are also very easy to use. The filling slides out pretty easily when holding down the press and shimmying the mold up. And given the molds are not fully opaque you can see the height of the filling if you want to make things even etc. Only takes me seconds to clean and then pop back into the box.Highly recommend and it's become a well loved kitchen tool added to my kit.
