Hard to quantify a star award for this watch. As has been noted in previous reviews, my watch arrived with the second hand path obstructed by the minute hand. Ran great for 59 seconds 😁. I was able to access the second hand and give it a gentle upwards lift, and the watch now is fantastic. If you’re not comfortable voiding any warranty and accessing your watches guts, do not attempt to do so. So, an average of 3 stars. 1 star for a DOA product from the manufacturer (indicating zero quality control effort) and 5 stars for a lovely little watch if it functions when you receive it. I would add that mine shipped with a very nice gray felt pouch as opposed to the red leather case.

I bought it and carried it for a few weeks. It quit working because the hands were hitting each other. I shipped it to be repaired. It was returned and the hands started hitting each other the next day. I think it's a piece of junk.

I just got this watch and I love it! The face is so clear and obvious you can literally see the time at a glance (some watches you need to stare for a few seconds to graps where the hands are against the background) and the quality is also obvious. The watch is relatively heavy in my hand - not enough to be a burden but sufficient to show its quality. The back bears the marks of the Swiss Federal Railway who use this clock design officially. It even says "Official Swiss railways watch" on the back.The chain that comes with it is nice too. It's a modern "vertebral" design with a pivoting clip on one end which complements the theme of this watch nicely. Finally there is a high quality red leather pouch with a belt loop on the back in case you don't have a pocket (or you don't want to risk damaging the watch in your pocket). The pouch is lined with a soft suede to protect the watch and it bears the maker's name.In summary, this watch is quite expensive but you get what you pay for.

This is the perfect pocket-watch for the practical person! Clear, accurate and just the right weight for a comforting presence in the pocket. The chain is one of those rare beasts - it never tangles (swivels both ends) and isn't too heavy. Even the presentation red leather pouch is beautifully stitched, soft-lined and fits on the belt if you prefer to keep your watch there rather than in your pocket.Worth every penny!
