Ok... it looked great in the package...It looked wonderful on the rod.It does require a stiff heavier rod to adequately cast it.In the water it performs well on a steady retrieve...with a wide lazy left to right wandering wobble. If you pump the retrieve it swings wide left to right in a very easy to maintain 2ft wide zip zag....looking very realistic the entire time.So far no hookups....but the water is still cold and the bass were being picky. I am 100% confident that this will bring in very large bass and striper but at the same time due to its palm sized dimensions it will reduce nuisance bass under about 3lbs because it is just TOO BIG for the lil guys.Again it looks amazing in the water...very very lifelike and convincing....even the osprey swooped down to investigate it while fishing.

Has a Great Action and is a Quality Bait for the Price $$ just Wish it was quite so Bouyant, it's a little harder to Weight to Sink.

I was really excited when I opened up this lure and took a good look at it, it is well-constructed and looks very realistic, and bigger than I thought it would be. The body is segmented enough to look like a very real fish when it wiggles underwater. The big treble hooks attached to the body are sharp and sturdy, and the eyelet for the line is nicely fastened. This is the perfect lure for giant bass and maybe even bigger trout among other game fish. This is now one of my favorite bass lures because it looks just like a bluegill and stands out due to the color pattern. You can also add attractant or add paint to the lure according to the colors and designs you want. I plan on painting this one with some red spots to mimic an injured prey fish. Casting this lure is a breeze as it is heavy enough to get a good far cast, and upon reeling it in, it has decent side action movement. Great add to any serious bass angler's tackle.
