no, quite frankly, the material is not good for the strenuous activity and movement parkour/freerunning requires.

Buy the size you regularly wear. I wear 13 mens. I bought size thirteen and they fit perfectly. I am even slightly wide and they are still comfortable.

It does appear as though the material can withstand performing for the length of time inquiring about; however, the portion that covers the calves may cause for concern just depending on the weather conditions and the amount or length of wear.

The thickness is about an 1/8 of an inch. The material is good, and comfortable, and very Sturdy.
