Thorogood 1957 Series 6” Waterproof Moc Toe Work Boots for Men - Soft Toe, Full-Grain Leather with Slip-Resistant Wedge Outsole and Shock-Absorbing Footbed

I am a contractor, and I use these boots for all my work, indoor and outdoor. They are sturdy, but lightweight and do not make your feet feel tired by the end of the day. They cost a little more, but are well worth the price and are a good value because they last a long time, get more comfortable with wearing, and outlast any other boots I have worn. You would need to purchase two or three pairs of other boots that would wear out much more quickly. Very high-quality. Note: I do not use the steel toed type so my commentary is for the non-steel toe boots.

Really nice boots. Would buy again. Run narrow so order a wide if you have even slightly wider feet.

I am a professional greens keeper that has the privilege of also maintaining a ski area an off road course and a zip line tour. These boots fit right out of the box then I regularly use leather conditioner on them so break in was pleasant. Tuck the tongue in the same each time you lace up. Comfortable and durable in wet weather not too hot in summer heat, soles are holding up well and I use these every day

Best work boot I’ve ever had! When it comes to durability and comfort Thorogood boots are second to none I have bought most big name boot there is and none compare. I’ve purchased Thorogood 3 straight times each pair I would get 4 to 5 yrs out of them and could have worn them longer. I do commercial sheet metal work on my feet all day and these boots are as comfortable as my sneakers. I’ve had this pair 8 months and they are in great condition

First of all, the boots are VERY NARROW even in wide size. This is pair number 6 that have all fit completely different. The tongue is too big for the boot, so it is impossible to not have a crease on the top of your foot when you lace them. Both boots didn't get stitched completely on the tongue. The left boot is sewn onto the sole crooked so the top of the boot and instep put pressure on your foot. The lining inside both boots is also too big so it creases when the boot is laced also causing pressure. Huge LUMPS all around both boots, and the footbed is not even close to the same in both boots. These are going back just like all the other Thorogood boots I've tried over the last 2 weeks. Definitely won't be giving them anymore of my money. Never have I seen such inconsistency and lack of quality control from a company. I even emailed them directly about all the boots being vastly different in size and shape, and their response was, just return them and nothing they can or will do. Piss poor customer service. They ought to be ashamed of the boots that have been produced lately. This is embarrassing!

I'm growing to like these boots more and more. I've had the regular moc toe ones, but I thought I'd take a chance on these because I liked the look of them. The main difference is that these have a lining and padded tongue. I think I still prefer their plain leather boot, although winter is coming, so let's see if I change my mind.

I hate giving them a 3 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because they seem well built. Once I finally got them on they feel fairly comfortable. I usually wear a 10.5 wide and have no problem fitting to most of the other brands. I had to do contortions getting in to them. They were a struggle getting on. I think I'll try and keep them and hopefully they will stretch out.

First of all I would like to start by saying that I personally think Thorogood boots are some of the best boots I have ever worn, Compared to the timberlands and redwings of the world these boots are just better. I have owned a pair of thorogood boots for the last 3-4 years and worked in them everyday anywhere from 8-16+ hour shifts and they never let me down until the waterproofing finally gave out, I definitely got my money's worth out of those things. If your buying these for work I can with 100% confidence tell you that they are the best your gonna get and would definitely recommend to a friend.Now down to the problem I am having with this particular pair that was sent to me by amazon I don't know what happened with this pair of boots when they were being made but they aren't made right. The right boot looks normal and like it was made by a professional but the left boot looks like a cheap knock off with no quality control... I am returning this and ordering a new pair hopefully they don't look completely different when I get them.temporary low rating because of this issue.edit: They sent out a new pair of boots and they look good, From looking at other reviews it seems like I'm not the only person that this happened to... might as well get these boots at a physical location.
