This item does not work on thick hair. The waves as shown in the picture are alot waver that what the product can actually do. This crimps your hair it does not create waves as shown in pictures.

I have really thik hair, that non of the hair curler can curl my hair properly. But, this on is so good. The curl size is perfect. Best part is its not tacking time, it is so quick.
