A medium would fit you if you like the more streamlined fitted look. If you prefer your sweaters to be "baggy", then a large would work better. The guy I purchased this sweater for has almost the exact measurements as you. He liked it so much we promptly ordered 2 more in different colors.

I bought this for my husband and just ordered it in his usual size. The fit was spot on. I don't remember it being overly large. Of course, there are sometimes changes to sizes due to changes in manufacturing. He really likes it and I was very pleased with the quality and style.
