Genuine Quality - Cream of the Crop!
I purchased the Sanyo Eneloop AAA, Sanyo Eneloop AA, and Sanyo Eneloop XX AA batteries. Since Amazon clumps them all together, this review is about those 3 items.Being an average user with remotes, flashlights, toys, game controllers, I've gone through hundreds of akaline batteries. I've even upgraded to use those Lithium branded ones that Energizer and Duracell sells, but those things carry a premium price (like $20 for a pack of 4). Over my life, I've probably spent thousands of dollars on disposable batteries. Tired of spending money on disposables, a couple years ago I bought one of those Duracell rechargeable battery kits from Walmart. It came with a 4-battery wall charger and 4 2000mAh batteries (made in China). Over time, those four batteries held up their end (I used them in my digital camera) but 2 of those batteries never kept their charge for long and I ended up throwing them away. I still have the other two and they work "OK".Recently about a year or so ago, I needed some more batteries and I only had 4 rechargeables from my original Durcell kit. I ended up buying a 4-pack of Duracell Rechargeable 2450mAh (made in Japan) and an even newer 4-pack of Duracell Rechargeable 2650mAh (made in Japan). Those worked pretty good but because of the number of devices I have requiring batteries, I needed to invest more in batteries... but I wasn't about to until I did more research on what were the best because my past rechargeable battery experiences were either a hit or miss. From my research (just Google for best rechargeable batteries) I learned that the best rechargeable batteries come from Japan (the China ones are OK) and Duracell actually sometimes rebrands batteries made by Sanyo (their Eneloop line). Now I know why my Chinese Duracells never lasted quite as long as my Japanese Duracells! I also learned that the wall charger (most of them that come with rechargeable batteries these days) I got with my kit do not charge batteries properly and is one of the reasons why all my batteries don't seem to last as long as they did when I first bought them.In addition, I found a great resource on Amazon, "NLee the Engineer" who knows his stuff about batteries & chargers (he's an electrical engineer). Based on his FAQs & reviews, I made my choice for a good charger & rechargeable batteries by his recommendation. So in one swoop, I invested in an intelligent battery charger (Maha C9000) and a handful of Sanyo Eneloop batteries (over $100 worth).Upon receiving the batteries, I verified that they were indeed the *latest* generation of Sanyo Eneloops (they have a grayish-silver crown logo on the side of them). While there is very little difference between the prior generation and the latest, the latest ones are slightly better and if I'm going to drop over $100 on batteries, I want to make sure I got the best & latest. The Eneloop packaging & several review sites stated that the Sanyo Eneloops are top rated because they have 1) a high durability, allowing estimated 1500 charges and 2) low self-discharge rate, maintains a large percentage of its charge after 3 years. While I can't attest to either because I only had them for a short period of time, I can say that they are very good when I used them in conjunction with my Maha C9000 charger. They power everything I have without issues (I had some weird issues with other types not powering up some devices). One thing I will say to be aware of is that the white Eneloops are rated at 2000 mAH. Other brands do boast a higher mAH and the higher the mAH, the more "juice" you have for your devices. Some people consider 2000 mAH to be a little low for some high powered devices. My Duracells (~$14), which I'm fairly certain are rebranded Eneloops, have a similar rating to that of the Eneloop XX brand ( Sanyo XX Battery Powered by eneloop, 2500mAh typical / 2400 mAh minimum High Capacity, 4 Pack AA Ni-MH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries )) and last nearly as long as the XXs.So the question you have to ask yourself is, if you need higher capacity, do you take a gamble on a brand that could potentially not be an Eneloop or just pay the $7 difference and get the XX Eneloops that are guaranteed at 2500mAh? Either way, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and have no complaints whatsoever about the Eneloops. I would recommend them to anyone because they are truly quality batteries.

Great batteries for those energy hungry electronics you have at home!
It seems like we go through batteries at home like crazy. Our house is full of remote controls, gaming handsets, portable DVD players, flashlights and 2 way radios. I purchased two sets of these to use in my Midland radios as it always seems that they need new batteries or they are not charged. I was attracted to the recharge life of up to 1500 times, the ability to hold their charge of 75% for up to 3 years of non-use and they have no memory effect due to charging the batteries. I also liked that they would charge to 800 mAh levels for power hungry devices.I wanted to make sure that they were kept in good shape so I purchased a smart charger that has several features aimed at properly charging Ni-MH batteries and extending their life. I purchased a Sony Ni-MH kit BCG-34HRE4KN that includes four long life batteries and this smart charger. This charger can charge up to 4 batteries at the same time either AAA or AA in size. It also:* Monitors voltage of each battery individually* Has a safety timer* Features a temperature monitoring function* It detects if you install Alkaline batteries* If a battery becomes charged it stops charging that battery and continues charging the balance of the loaded batteries.* It has a Refresh function that allows you to deplete the batteries and then fully charge them to avoid them from getting a memory charge effect. You don't use this every time you charge but only when you suspect that your batteries are not performing properly.I didn't want to spend so much time on the charger but if you want to get the most benefit out of your rechargeable battery investment then the charger is a key part of the process and this one is rated higher than most all others. My new Sanyo batteries came already charged and they were at about 75% to 80%. I immediately put them into the Midland radios and after about 14 hours of use they were down to about 25%. I then inserted them into the new charger and it took about 3 hours to recharge them. As each battery reached its full charge its LED light on the charger went out. This is very nice as the charger protects the batteries from being overcharged and damaged. It is hard to imagine that with 1500 recharges these 4 batteries equal 6000 alkaline batteries. If you purchased 6000 alkaline batteries at $6.50 for 24 pieces that is $1,625.00 which gives you a tremendous savings in cost. In addition you are eliminating a disposal problem of getting rid of all of those batteries. One other thing that motivated me was that once a year or more I have to change the batteries in 20 remote controls, 4 wireless mice (multiple times), 4 wireless keyboards (multiple times) and 6 flashlights. This year 4 of the devices have had the batteries inside leak and corrode the controller or flashlight they were in. I am hoping that these batteries will not do that as it is a pain to clean up the corrosion or throw away a flashlight that costs more than the batteries.Overall I like what I have seen so far and I have already purchased more Sanyo batteries for use in other devices. There is one con that I did not understand. How can you claim 1500 recharges and maintaining 75% charge after 3 years of non-use but only have a one year warranty? I still give the product 5 stars but this is one of those investments that you won't know if it was any good for one or two years. If anything happens I'll let you know!

Attention arnaque !
Attention le titre du produit ainsi que son tarif laissent penser qu'il s'agit de 4 packs de pile alors qu'il n'y a qu'un paquet !Hors un paquet coûte en moyenne 15 euros...A éviter !
