I've been using this for about 3 months to protect the carpet from all the food my almost 1-year-old son drops, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I use it under our high chair and the size is perfect. It catches all the food my son drops. Lately, he's been trying to use a spoon to feed himself and often times he ends up throwing food all over by swinging the spoon too hard, but it still catches everything. After a messy meal, I simply remove the high chair, roll up the mat with all the food, walk to the trash can and dump it all off. When there's stain, I wipe it with a wipe and it cleans very nicely. For crunchy food that got stuck, I recommend using the Boogie wipes. Every couple days I throw it in the washing machine and dryer (cold water, low dryer setting) and it comes out perfectly. It is also very light weight and folds up pretty compactly, so you could totally tuck this in a pouch and take it along when you know you're going to be eating at someone's house. Recommended to my sister and she loves it for her almost 3-year-old too.

It may not be the silver bullet in regards to infant/toddler messes, but it's a must-have tool in any parent's quest for cleanliness.This mat folds/rolls up easily, and takes up relatively little space I a diaper bag when taking it out. It's quite water repellant, and as a result is very easy to clean. In regards to size/surface area covered, I think it's pretty appropriate - big enough to catch most of the food splattered/spilt/sprayed by our daughter, but not so big that it takes up the whole room. We've had this for months and it shows no signs of wear and tear, and we plan on using it for our future kids. Definitely worth the money.

As other reviews have written, there is no beige in this spill mat. There are two different grays, orange, and white stripes. I didn't care about it "matching" my dining room decor, so this wasn't a problem for me. The mat is a good size-it's fits under my son's highchair, and so far, has caught everything he's dropped. This makes for a very easy clean-up after each meal. It wipes up well and hasn't stained from dropped fruits or veggies. I haven't put it in washing machine yet, but because it's made of the same material as plastic bibs, I'm sure on a cold wash and line dry it will do fine. The plastic is durable and doesn't feel cheap or like it will rip easily. I'm happy with the purchase!

We purchased this mat for our son to play Play-Doh on to keep the mess down. It works great!! Cleanup is a breeze, as it is able to be easily wiped down with a damp cloth and folds small for storage. The one con I would say is that due to the circular design, it doesn't lay completely flat on all sides... it seems to pull and curl up a bit on one side when you attempt to smooth it out. This wouldn't stop me from ordering another though! It serves it's purpose well at a reasonable price!

I love this mat for under my son’s highchair. I bought this one cause it was the nicest looking cheap mat I could find. A lot of people complained about it falling apart or not being able to wash it, but so far we have had great luck with ours. I have washed it at least 4x now and it’s still in great shape! I wash it on delicate and dry it on extra low and have not had issues with it falling apart as of yet. Overall this is a great mat and I would recommend it to anyone!

This is a well-made, useful product for a great price! I bought it for use under my daughter's high chair and it's worked so well. It is water proof, and big enough to catch almost everything that falls. After she's done eating, I simply pick it up and shake all the food bits off outside. I think it'll work great for sensory play and picnics when she is older, too.

This makes cleaning up after mealtime easier. We put this under our one-year-olds highchair and it catches most of what hits the floor. Whether it's solids or liquids, this keeps it off of our hardwood and area rug. After meals, we shake it off outside, wipe it down, and I occasionally throw in the washer on the delicate cycle.

Good quality and fits underneath my toddlers chair well. Easy to clean, quick to dry. Thicker than some other cheaper ones out there. Neutral pattern so I don’t get bothered about cleaning it everyday. Probably one of the top necessary purchases for my toddler for me.

This is the second I bought to help protect the area around my toddler’s easel. The first one is used for meals. The size is great to provide ample coverage but isn’t so big that it feels like you’re laying down a tarp. It’s been easy to clean. Also like that the design is simple and understated, fits in our home.

This mat is exactly what I wanted - big enough to catch most of the food which my baby discards over the side of his food tray, easy to clean, durable for lots of use and neutral so that it does not clash with the rest of the dining room. I wanted something which I could leave down most of the time, as I have a bad back so it helps to not have to keep taking it up and putting it back down before each meal. I also wanted a round mat so that I would not need to keep smoothing down corners. So far it ticks all these boxes! As my baby grows I will use it as a splatter mat for crafts to save the carpet from paint and goodness knows what else! It is a plastic mat and not a rug, but this is good as it simply wipes clean and the plastic seems really good quality rather than thin and flimsy. I am very pleased with this mat and will continue to use it for a long time.
