Slightly Disappointed !!
It is a portable guide !!But I was looking for a guide and picture of each Blue Plaque !!There are some pictures of Blue Plaques, very few though !!I am keeping it, because it is portable !!

Very interesting but not complete
It is an interesting book and filled with lots of historical references but I am a big fan of Sir Alfred Hitchcock and his birthplace blue plaque in Leytonstone was left out of this book which makes wonder how many more did not make the cut. Granted, his birthplace was torn down, most unfortunately, and the plaque itself is on a wall outside of a petrol station but not all structures are extant. Lots of interesting items connected to Sir Alfred (local boy makes it really big!) are scattered throughout Leytonstone but that’s not the purpose of this book but I just wish his birthplace had been noted.

Book as a gift for relatives visiting the UK. Amazing and handy little books
