This is my favorite washable stabilizer for machine embroidery!

I wish I would have known about this product ages ago. I make dolls with hand embroidered faces and cannot freehand draw at all. I need to use a pattern of some kind. Also, I do not like to mark directly onto the fabric. This was so easy--I traced the eyes and eyebrows onto the FabriSolvy and basted it on to my doll fabric and embroidered away. Quick, easy, and the eyes came out perfectly. It is flexible, just like fabric. I rinsed out the Solvy no problem. This works much better than pattern paper as it does not tear. I do not care for the stabilizer that is self adhesive--gums up my needles. I would recommend this to anyone who hand embroiders. I am sure it would work just as well with machine embroidery.

I am new to home embroidery & wanted to make free standing lace items. This stabilizer is perfect for my projects.

Great for lacework machine embroidery

Did a search for wider stabilizer and didn't realize narrower ones were included. It is most assuredly not wide enough for a 6x10 hoop. I will keep it to use on the smaller hoop.By the way Amazon, your "Rate features" is way off for what this item does.

I am new to machine embroidery, so I am trying all different kinds of stabilizer, This one is very good & all Sulky stabilizer's seem very good, & I use that brand a lot.

I saw this recommended on a machine embroidery site for patterns that the stitching was dense and thought I would give it a try. It works great.
