Plastiflex Hose Switch/Receptacle Assembly SHCBEZHR01, 170122, BI-3408This 3 position switch perfectly fits in my Beam 30ft vacuum hose handle. Position 1 operates the vacuum only, the middle position turns it off and position 2 operates the vacuum and the power head attachment.

Perfect fit. Exactly what I needed when the switch on my vacuum stopped working.

It's so great when you can fix a really expensive thing (Vacuum Hose with electric brush) with a reasonably priced part (Switch). When the vacuum suction stopped working while using the electric beater brush, I figured "oh great I'm gonna have to shell out hundreds of dollars for a new hose over a $5 switch". Thanks to this part I was able to fix it for under $40 which I am totally fine with, especially since it replaced the electrical contact boards and socket for the electric brush in addition to the faulty switch. It fit perfectly in my 27 year old Galaxy vacuum hose assembly. Shipping was SUPER fast.

Taking the unit apart, I noticed a black rubber ring that I, assumed, was a gasket of some kind. The replacement electronics included this gasket that I thought was a nice, unexpected, item. Took me all of about 30 minutes to get it up and running like new.

The switch assembly on the central vacuum hose went out and rather than spend $150.00+ dollars on a new hose, we just replaced this switch. It fit perfectly into the hose handle and fixed the problem. The only reason for the 4 Star rating is that it was delivered on a Monday rather than the previous Friday as it stated when I purchased the item.

This dual switch was the exact replacement for our Beam power handle. Arrived quickly and well packed to avoid damage to the delicate board and wiring. Our vac was back up and running within minutes of its arrival!

Prefect!!! if your hose/suction works on #1 and then you go to #2 to use the (power head) and then the suction turns off but the power head runs this is what you need to repair your hose.Ours was a Beam brandSimple repair for anyone with a #2 philips screw driver.God Bless!!

The switch on our vacuum handle was failing. At times, the II setting would not turn on the beater and the main vacuum unit. Eventually, it failed and the II setting on the switch would only turn on the beater. Some youtube videos helped me test the hose and the switch.This replacement part fit perfectly and corrected the issue. Delivery was a little slow, but, the part worked as hoped.
