Got these for my ring cameras. Work great

I bought this in hope that it would keep my batteries charged and sure enough I plugged them in and it done its job very happy.

I purchase these to eliminate the need to have spare batteries that needed to be charged so that I could switch out the batteries for my Ring “stick up” cameras. The cords are long enough that you can easily find an outlet close enough to plug them in. I have 4 of these and I never have to worry about the cameras running out of juice and missing out on picking up a video of any motion 24/7. Love it!

- Pros: 1. Cord length is very sufficient to reach cameras and are off sufficient strength to pull. 2. Compact Size. 3. Separate Power Packs from USB cord so if the power pack dies or the cord is damaged either one can be changed.- Cons: It says that the ends are water tight, they are not they are hard plastic so if you're using them outside you may want to put some Dielectric Grease or Silicon on the connector outer sides/edges. The power pack portion that the USB part plugs into power supply is not weather proof so seal it or plug it inside and run the cord outside. - I've had them installed for over a month now and are working great in rain, snow and freezing weather.

Used for Ring Indoor Outdoor Stick Up Cam bought at Costco. Camera is on indoor window sill over entry door into house facing outward through a glass window . It works! I no longer need to climb to change battery daily. I am recording constant detection motion so was using up a lot of the battery. Leave the battery in the camera. Plug one end into camera into exterior jack of camera in back. Plug the other end of the cable into USB plug provided into outlet and it’s done. Look at the video provided in sales specs. It’s self explanatory. I bought the 28 foot length and hid the excess behind curtains and plugged into 2nd floor hallway outlet.

I ordered these 3 longer cables for my ring cameras, I have already bought 2 x 5 metre ones and they worked great. I no longer need to change the batteries in my cameras they keep charged up now. They are well made and a great price and are easy to set up, and no more need to climb up on ladders to change the batteries. They are well worth the money.

Been working for months now on my 2nd gen Stick up Ring Battery cameras that I wanted to convert to wired. I was worried a bit for Oregon rainy season but it’s been rainy for two plus weeks with some powerful wind and rain but so far the only problems I’ve had was the dog or opossum chewed thru one of the wires, but a quick splice job and it was back to business.The Battery has to stay in the cam so you still need that when plugging in the wire but it was better than paying the 40$ price gouge for one single wire ring wants to stab you with for “their” wire… (it’s the same d*mned wire) Shame on ring for ramming it to their customers like that. Pretty despicable practices for a company to so blatantly, and carelessly rip you off, because you know their buying from the same wholesalers in China and just slapping a Ring logo and 40$ price tag on it. “But you have to buy our special Ring wire or it might cause an issue.” Yeah right, the only issue is that it effects their bottom line.Anyway, great product, works for Ring 2nd gen battery cams and it’s been water resistant so far for against Oregon weather. No issue with disconnecting or performance.

Although its charges it says that its connection is to solar panel, not a issue, and apparently not 100%waterproof plug ( I just put a dollop of silicone over it) well worth the money
