HUGAMONKEY Soft Cotton Durable Pet Sling Carrier for Dogs & Cats Holds Upto 15 lbs - Brown, Large

After reading some of the other reviews and looking at the size chart, I ordered a medium, I am 5'5. I had a new native carrier that I absolutely loved, it was a large and was comfortable for both my husband and I, a little big for me, but....Now this sling seems small, I haven't gotten to use it yet as we are still waiting for our fourth child, so I am hoping the only reason it feels tight is because I am 9 moths pregnant, it also seems to sit up higher than the others, right at the natural waistline, not at the hip....I will try it out, but at this point I am skeptical that it is going to work....

I have a 22pd Pug & maybe if she was a tad smaller the Hug a Monkey sling would hold her better. She is getting old (10) & when I take her for walks she can't make it back home anymore, I was so hoping this would work but as I walk she isn't very secure & afraid she may fall out! I'll keep trying to find something that works, she still needs her excercise but carrying her home is a bit hard for me! I LOVE MY PUG!!!! :)

This felt like a sheet and was not the quality I expected. The fabric was so thin I would not feel safe putting my baby in it without holding him which defeats the point of wearing a baby sling. Spend a little more money and find a better quality fabric. I took a chance and hopefully my review will help others avoid the disappointment of this product. I gave 2 stars since it is a baby sling and does function as that. I guess you get what you pay for! So disappointed!

Im giving this product three stars based on 1. The metal loop rings allow the strap to slip. 2. My dog weighs 15lbs and there is no way in the world to support him with this product. I kept it because I thought I might find another use for it.

I have owned a New Native Carrier, a Baby Bjorn, a ring sling, a Slingling, a Moby and the list goes on and on... This is by far my favorite most versatile sling. The first thing to note is that it does not need adjusting, wrapping, whatever. Very easy. You can fold it up into a tiny wad and stick it in your diaper bag or have it in the car ready to go. The next thing is that I can put my baby or toddler in almost any position. I carry my toddler on my hip and my newborn in the kangaroo position and the cradle position. I also nurse my children in this sling. The fabric is a strong solid cotton with almost no stretch but it does not feel too hot or thick for my babies. One thing that I will note about the sizing is that your sling with baby in it should not be hanging lower than your belly button because that is bad for your posture. I bought a medium first (I'm 5' 8" and 160lbs) and thought it was a little tight (I have big babies) so I bought a large too. Guess which size I'm using? The medium. I realized that I just wasn't placing my baby in comfortably (baby's bottom should be at the seam where the pocket is the widest and the shoulder should be correctly positioned on you) and that is why it seemed tight. It needs to be somewhat tight though, you don't want your baby floating around in a sling or hanging down below your waist. Last but not least, the price is right!!! I buy one of these as a gift at every baby shower.

This item was a waste of money. I purchased it to carry my teeny 3 lb maltese for walks around the garden and the neighborhood. She's so tiny, most of the cats in my area are twice her size. She can not go freely. Anyway, This is just a flat piece of fabric, like folded and stitched. I have health problems I need to be able to hold my pup securely. The fabric has no elastic edges, no nothing to tighten the fabric and prevent the pup from falling out. She/he can fall out the front or back because there is no secure, elastic edges or strings, nothing to tighten the bulk of the fabric. Honestly anyone can make this. Fold fabric in half, stitch one edge so it's a continuous loop of fabric and walah! I don't think so. Small animals move, try to jump out, etc. and there is nothing preventing this from happening, anytime, anywhere, any surface. I would not recommend this product.

My Chihuahua has long legs and does not sit comfortably in this. Short leg dogs would rest better.

I like how simple this is but my cats just keep asking me "what are you doing, mom?" when I take them around the house with me or try to sit with them on the couch in this sling. I don't know that I would be using it to the vet, but I walked around the house with both my 9 lb and my 13 lb cats. Mr. 13 is harness trained so I will normally strap that on him when he's not in the carrier and grab his leash.

It works but the material is a little thin. I hope it wears well. Perhaps it will be good for hot days.

Works well for my 5 month old. Nice light fabric for warm weather
