I was really disappointed when I received the bookcase in gray instead of brown like I ordered. At the time I was so desperate to get my books off the floor that I just kept it and put it together. I like the design a lot and if all my furniture was gray, it would look really good but because it doesn't match, it sticks out awkwardly. I'm sure it was an honest mistake but I am so frustrated with items I've been getting from Amazon in the last year that when I opened the box and it was the wrong color, I was completely frustrated. Overall the shelf is cool and I like the design, although it's not as sturdy as I would like (if I push it from the side it will sway back and forth) for what I paid. I just feel overall disappointed with it 😕😕

This product shipped without the bolts and fasteners. It could not be assembled as-shipped. This is the third piece of flat-pack furniture that I've had to return to Amazon because of missing/defective fasteners/parts.

Very Very NICE!!I have to say this is a very good quality Shelf unit I worked in companys doing built in wall units made with this same stuff and I have to say quality is very good Edgeband matches laminate to a tee No chips Very nice wood grain . The grey is very soft and realistic looking I think the price could be lower because this type particle board is about $ 20 for a 4x8 But hey u know .....

Very nice despite the fact that the wrong color was delivered. We order 2 bookcases in grey but received both of them in rustic brown. Customer service was very willing to replace the items and process an exchange but we changed our minds and stuck with the brown. Other than that, the shelves are very sturdy. I like that it can be attached to the wall without causing damage to the wall. With two toddlers running around i feel very confident that the bookcases do not pose a hazard.

This is a nicer and sturdier shelf than expected. The only dislike is that I was sent “gray” instead of the ordered “rustic brown”.I didn’t realize until after my husband had already assembled the shelf. Luckily, we like the gray as well and decided to just roll with it. :)

For the price it was what I was looking for. Easy to assemble but not very sturdy. Would not. Put anything heavy on it. K

Works great, just put your heavier items toward the bottom for more stability. I added small 2in legs for a more mid century look and it works great.
