I don't know why this screen is advertised as muslin fabric- it most certainly is not. It's more of a polyester blend. The fabric seems to be relatively durable and soft, but not what I had in mind for hand painting.

I would buy again and it’s a very nice quality in tall enough but I wish it was wider

This was a disappointment, when I first put it up it had lots of wrinkles so I threw it in the dryer for a bit, then once it didn’t have wrinkles and I put it up any light behind it would shine right through. As well as the floors being able to be seen through the fabric. I have bed sheets that are thicker than this. Save your money and buy a good heavy thick backdrop.

I bought this to use for my (almost) 1 year old's birthday pictures. It got the job done, but there were a lot of wrinkles I couldn't get out and my 1 year old, obviously, doesn't sit still so we spent a lot of time trying to fix the fabric just to try and get a single picture before he moved again. If you have time to get the wrinkles out, and your taking pictures of anything that has an attention span longer then 5 seconds, you should be good, but if you taking pictures of a mover, opt for something heavier like vinyl.

This is a sheet, not a backdrop! I spend more time ironing/steaming then should be required. It’s also not thick or heavy enough to drape well. I have to use clips to keep it tight and weights on the floor to keep it from have waves in the fabric. Plus the amount of lint and debris it holds. I’m constantly using a lint roller or having to shake it out and rehang it every few dozen shots. Total waste of $ if you plan on using a backdrop on a regular basic.
