Even the cover is beautiful
Definitely recommend this sketch pad. When I get this filled I’ll be ordering another. Used my new Karin Decogel pens. Shown beautifully on this paper. Very good quality. Even the front and back cover plus the double ring binder is very impressive. This family owned business also has sketch pads in white and toned tan paper. I might have to get the tan one before I finish with the black one. You won’t be disappointed, trust me, I’m hard to please.

a nice heavy warm tone paper
This is a great alternative to the Strathmore warm toned paper. The paper is brighter, warmer, and most of all heavier. That extra 27lbs really makes a difference, especially working we any wet media. The bleed through still happens but to a much lower degree. The added warmth of the tone also helps make people look good. My only niggle with the quality is the back board (back cover) should be sturdier. You'll want to use this on a flat surface or the sketchbook will bow/flex. It is my new favorite toned paper though!I just hope Niltech makes other sizes eventually. And maybe an even heavier stock.

Great artpad
Durable stock, seems excellent for pencil/color pencil/ink/charcoal/conte'/etc... The spiral itself seems of higher quality than many other pads like Strathmore's stuff. I've all ready purchased another.Made in USA by a small American business. A+++

Great value for a nice black drawing surface.
I use this when I draw street portraits, so it’s very contained and easy to transport. It works nicely with pencil and chalk, and charcoal so I suspect it will be good for pastel as well. The perforated pages are a nice feature. Will definitely purchase again.

Quality item
Not cheap , but the "recycled materials" as stated are all finely produced for a responsive drawing surface, with firm backing cardboard for support. Spiral binding is excellent.
