Do not judge a book by its cover.I am 5'1, and for the last few years I've been hitting my overweight range, weight-wise, and it's all in the tough to lose areas as a female (i.e. hips, thighs, upper inner legs, stomach, bloating, etc). Even with a healthy diet and daily exercise, it's not getting easier to burn weight, as I am now 31, and it only gets harder as you age, believe it or not. Through a great deal of research, as well as my personal training program I am in to become a personal trainer, I will admit this is the best trimmer for the upper body I have found so far.It's worth the money, it's easy to clean, and it fits tight, but snug.I can breathe normal and fine in this, whether I'm walking around my house, or running on a cross country hiking trail.I have run hiking trails, inclines, declines, etc, and breathing is fine, does not hinder breathing. It does not cause any chest cramps, nor any chest pain.It will help you stand and sit properly, fully straight as we should. It helps prevent slouching. It will help you keep your upper body and spine and shoulders straight and level while running as well as sitting and standing.If you do not like corsets ladies, then you will not like this, as it greatly reminds me of traditional corsets, only more breathable and comfortable.It will make you sweat more than normal, it will contribute to raising your body temperature during running, hiking, and endurance training, just as it will during HIIT/Weight training. I've worn it during all those activities, and even with a great increase in my body temperature, I do not get light headed and I do not feel faint.The product arrived quickly, brand new, in great condition, and clean. Easy to clean as well. As you will sweat more, the smell does not become strong, nor bad, it's as if the smell disappears as the trimmer dries.Comfortable to wear over any type of shirt, and soft on the skin if you wear it with just a sports bra underneath, which due to sensitive skin I cannot do. I recommend the long sleeve or short sleeve under armor shirts if you wear those underneath them during the winter season.The upper body does not feel cold at all while running in 10-19 degree weather, snow fall, snow, and ice, as I am living in a very cold winter season in upstate NY. Only will need a light winter jacket over this at most.

The adjustable waist straps are super long, but the compression of the waist trainer is excellent. I just wish the straps were a little bit shorter so I can actually use them to train my waist. I may have to return it.

I like the way it pulls me in. I also like that it provides me with good back support and help me to maintain proper body mechanics and good posture when working out with it. Also get a good sweat from it. Overall I would highly recommend this product

It was easy to put on and nice and tight but the top half was awkward.Also the bottom rolls up as you go about your day.

I'm surprised of the quality and fit of this product. I did order my shirt size at first but had no problem exchanging for a smaller size because I wanted it to snug fit so I would say go a size down. Customer service was a breeze and not a problem. You would definitely get a sweat out of this and comfortable enough to work out in. I suggest this as a good walking tool. I love the double strap so I can adjust it the way I want for a different body types. I am 5'4 about 175 lb I got a large. Can't wait for the weather to break so I can begin again. I read all the reviews & saw everyone was saying to size down. Regardless of that I got an XL & it fit a bit big. What I should’ve gotten was L or even a M. I don’t mind the XL because that way I can move my arms without it being too tight & uncomfortable. It’s great quality for the price. It’s actually pretty thick & so far it hasn’t ripped or gotten damaged. I would recommend & purchase again.
