Silent Pocket Faraday Cage Key Fob Holder, Charcoal Grey, 4.3" x 3.5" x 0.5"

This faraday bag works well just like all the other SLNT products that I have. Quality I've come to expect. the bag itself is put together really well and has a quality feel to it. It also doesn't carry as heavy a price point as other SLNT products. In fact, the high price of the other larger SLNT products have been a really big turn off for me so finding this small but price conscious bag is quite nice.

I was looking for something that would allow me to leave my car keys in the car without allowing the car to start. This worked great. I put a console safe in the car so I could lock up keys and and my wallet while I hiked or biked. The problem was that the car would start even if keys were locked in the safe. Granted, someone would have to get into the locked car first but I didn't like the idea that if someone broke in they could easily operate the car. Once I put the fob in the sleeve though there is no signal from the key and the car won't start. Works great!

It works well. A previous device I bought did not block signals from my key fob.

This is the second key fob protector I've bought in the past year. A lot of the ones you find on Amazon don't have a secure way of closing the protector - just a flimsy elastic bandy thing, and are only available in black, which makes them harder to find if you drop or misplace the protector. And that's exactly what happened with my first one. I dropped the protector in our yard by accident at night (luckily the key wasn't in it) and didn't find it again until a few weeks later. By which point it was musty and dirty from being out in the humidity for so long. I put it in the wash, only to discover that washing it destroyed the shielding.So here I was, shopping for a new key fob protector...I had a few criteria in mind.1) I wanted it to be compact, so it would fit more easily into my pocket. The bulkiness was something I always hated about the last one.2) I wanted a better closing mechanism3) I wanted to ideally find one in a brighter color to make it stand outThe Silent Pocket protector meets all three criteria (well 2 out 3 for sure, anyway). It's available in a range of colors, and seems to be well made. The durable canvas material has a quality feel, and it looks like they improved the stitching compared to some of the older customer photos posted here, so hopefully it'll be more durable. I was able to verify that it works as advertised. With the key in the protector (you have to slip it inside the bronze-ish shielded pocket) and the cover snapped shut, I couldn't open my car even from 1 foot away. Even with the cover open, the key wasn't being recognized. Sweet!The clasping mechanism is really nice. It snaps shut and holds the protector closed more securely than competing products that just have an elastic band. It adds a quality touch and works really well. What's more is that there are two more snaps on the back, which allow you to essentially fold the protector in half to make it more compact.I deducted a star due to general sizing issues. The product description lists multiple sizes for the same unit, which is super confusing. There are also no instructions that come with the product, and I discovered the folding ability through trial and error. For reference, unfolded (but closed), this protector is about 4"x5" in size (outside dimensions). Folded in half and closed, it ends up being about 4"x2.5" (again, outside dimensions). Unfortunately, my Mazda key fob doesn't fit in the protector when it's folded in half. The inner pocket is just slightly too tight of a fit. Your fob might fit fine if it's not as big. It's unfortunate...I bought this protector for the promise of being able to close it to the 4"x2.5" size, but I'll end up having to keep it in my pocket at 4"x5". It works, but isn't ideal.Overall, it's a good, sturdy product, with some really nice design features. I hope the long-term durability won't disappoint.

It’s perfect for my extra pair of keys

This is my 2nd purchase. First one lasted about five years a few days ago I noticed I could walk up to the car with the key fob in the pocket and the car opened so I knew it was time to replace. Until now, this pocket kept the fob completely shielded, and the car would not open if the fob was in the pocket. The new pocket seems a bit stiffer than the old one, hopefully has even more protection. But an excellent product, highly recommend.

SLNT's extra-small size was big enough for one key fob; I use it for my spare fob. SLNT's small size was big enough for my entire key chain, consisting of a key fob, two regular-size keys, and a small key chain flashlight. This product is very well designed, and its quality is superb. Many RFID pouches on the market require some effort to get the item to be protected into the correct pocket and to ensure that there is no RF leakage. In contrast, this SLNT product is designed to make the process easy and fool-proof. There is only one pocket lined with the protective material, and when you close the pocket, there is fold-over of the protective material and snap closure, which ensures no RF leakage. There are less expensive RF pouches on the market, but in my opinion, the SLNT product is well worth its slightly higher cost. If I had any suggestion for improving this product, it would be to make the snap closures have more "positive" tactile feedback, e.g., magnetic snap closures, if possible.

I got the xs and it is still huge! It’s just not practical to attach to your key chain and the pouch doesn’t even have a ring or carabiner attachement so you will have to rig it yourself. I can fit pretty much 3 Subaru forester key fobs in the xs.. why make it so huge when all I need is a pocket that exactly fits one key fob! Plus you should really have an attachment to attach the fob and also one to attach to your key chain.. just not practical to carry everyday and can lose both easily

Needs a separate smaller pocket on the outside to keep fob in while in use. Yes you can roll the fob in the pouch, however the fob comes lose and than the fob is lost in the bottom of the purse.

this is a nice product, but the envelope style is cramped for my Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge key fob... likely only to use for overnight storage, not daily travel.

The sleeve was a bit stiff at first but once it softened up it fit my keys well. Sometimes I forget the keys are still in the sleeve snd the cat won’t start. It does the job!
