These earrings are so pretty! Mine have a silver marking on them. I just cleaned the post off with rubbing alcohol before I put them on. I have VERY sensitive ears and I was able to wear them out for part of the day with no issue. The first time I wore them out, I received a compliment on them. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a stylish sterling silver jewelry set. Of the styles offered, the Safiye Sultan design is probably the most casual set, featuring a large cabochon cut stone versus all faceted stones. The silver has an antique finish, which really accentuates the details of the setting. The combination of red-orange and turquoise stones is classic and beautiful. The small white and light orange faceted stones add a bit of sparkle. The rhodium plating gives it a polished finish that should resist tarnishing. For the price, this is an average value, given that all the stones are simulated. The pendant I received has a very noticeable dent in the mirror finish on the back side, but that did not influence my rating because it doesn’t affect the appearance when worn, and because others likely won’t have this experience. From a design standpoint, my preference for matching pendant and earrings is for the pendant to be slightly larger than the dangle part of the earrings. These are all the same size.

This Turkish jewelry set is quite high-quality and even more beautiful in person - I may even pick up another set! I chose the Nurbanu Sulṭān set and was so impressed when it actually arrived. The earrings arrived packaged in a plain box with colored tissue paper, and included a fun sticker as a bonus. I would say they look exactly like the photos, but actually I thought they were even more gorgeous in person than I expected. The metal work has the same distressed gold finish that the photos show, and this helps the gems (small and big ones) really stand out and sparkle against the dark metal. I thought the metal work turned out really well and does not look overly cheap. Since it is sterling silver as a base (the backs of the pieces are marked 925), it feels very substantial and high-quality, not like base metal. It would have been nice if the necklace chain was also gold, but it looks fine as-is in regular silver. The gems themselves also sparkle really nicely, including the large red center gems in the style I got. They do not come across as cheap in either appearance or feel. While the metal is substantial, I still found that the earrings weren't too heavy to be uncomfortable. Overall, I was highly impressed by this set, especially after seeing it in person, and have been considering getting one of the other styles.
