I am using these on several layers of cork for wristlets. They work really well and the color selection is nice. I do NOT have a rivet press and have had no issues getting them to hold securely.

These are pretty and will work on fabric layers, but they won't hold on vinyl bag straps, which end up being about 8 layers. You need a longer shank, if that's the right word.

Great for leather wristlets. Will buy again.

Purchased the 50-piece 8mm rainbow rivets. My thoughts : 1. "50" pieces must have been counted as 25 tops, 25 bottoms, not 50 total rivets. 2. My order of two 50-piece sets had 48 'tops' and 47 'bottoms', so not even the total of 50 pieces. 3. I'm setting them in an arbor press. They make a CRUNCH when setting that I've never heard with any other rivet. However, the finish seems to be staying on and not flaking.Since I've already started this project, I need to order another two sets of 50 if I want to finish. $80 just on rivets seems rather insane, and with the issues in quality, I doubt I'll be ordering them again.

When used with a rivet press the rainbow finish flakes off and the caps mark up.

These rivets are nearly impossible to set without a press, and the finish flakes off easily. Don't waste your money on this cheap garbage.
