Perfect for classroom testing
I teach third grade and bought these for my class of third graders for during testing. They like using them for an extra bit of focus and privacy, too! They're not as tall as what some of my colleagues have, but I'm happy with the height. They seem like they'll last well as long as my students take good care for them.

Perfect for what I needed
These were used as half size project boards. They were perfect for what I needed. I didn't need full size science boards. These worked great for displaying our USA classroom art.

Too Expensive, Easy to Break
They're short. They go right above the 5th graders heads and serve their purpose, but I wanted something taller. They bend back and break very easy. I just don't understand why cardboard is so expensive to buy for privacy covers.

Great product - have the kids sit with their backs to you if you can
These study carrells are a good value, and relatively sturdy (for corrugated cardboard). I've been using them in my college courses, where I've recently had a rash of "wandering eyes" during examinations that didn't stop when I would call the students out on it. They are tall enough to keep students from looking at others' papers in close quarters.Learn from my mistakes, though - if you can, have the students sit with their backs to you during the exam. After the second exam when I used these, I discovered that a few students were hiding their cellphones behind the carrells and using them to search for answers.

Cheater defeaters
This school year I was given desks that can be arranged in groups of four. With 40 high school students and a small classroom, groups of four is the only feasible arrangement. This is fine for group work, but what to do when giving a test? I found these carrels on line and ordered 24. The kids love them! They like the privacy it gives them and the A students appreciate that others can't copy from them. The first time I handed them out they wanted to stack them up, make a house , hide in them, etc. silly kids. I only wish my school would have paid for them, but that's not going to happen. They want to decorate them but they'll have to wait until June.

Regular cardboard that is expensive
I didn't expect these to be so short and flimsy. I thought they were hard. These are just regular cardboard cut in half and painted for so much money.

Sturdy and work well!
These worked great! I wish they came in a color where students couldn’t write on them, but to solve that, i recommend writing a number on each folder and assigning each student a specific folder to stop that from happening.

They work fine.
I like everything about them except the height. They are a little shorter than I pictured, but that is my misconception.
