It's made in very good material
The hood's made using good quality plastic. The only problem I see is that you need to screw a little bit hard in the end in order to lock it to the lens. I took a while to realise what was going on but it worked.

Very flimsy and does not lock into place, it's fallen of twice so now I don't use it , you get what you pay for . Its rubbish
