HABA 5er Finden - 5 Dice, 5 Rounds - A Speedy Roll & Write Pattern Recognition Game

Really fun roll and write for up to 4 players. Nice components which include dry erase boards, markers, a sand timer, and 5 dice with colored shapes on each side. The basic game is played over 5 rounds. Once per round the dice are rolled, and players search for shapes to outline on their colorfully checkered boards which match the colors/symbols on all 5 dice. Once someone outlines 5 shapes or gets tired of looking, they turn over the sand timer. The rest of the players have until the sand runs out to find more shapes. There are 12 possible shapes worth from 1 to 4 points. There is also a puzzle mode for this game which gives a different way to play. Fast, fun and simple rules - highly recommended!

5er Finden is a great game, albeit the fact that there are a ton of Tetris-style games. What makes this game different is the rule that the first person who believes they came up with more tetris shapes that his/her opponent, which ends the round. If they are wrong, the opponent(s) win. Fun game!

This is a great game! We can play with our 6yo and my husband and I enjoy playing by ourselves as well. The boards are double sided with one side being identical for a little more challenging competition and one side being different to allow each person to work individually. There is also a great solo puzzle mode. Well worth the $20 and would make a great gift!

A very fun and quick game. Simple but it really makes you think about the best move. Good for families or in my case, a two player game with my spouse.

Easy rule set, solid components.
