This thing is the best for black widows.
The media could not be loaded. This thing is awesome. First of all it’s the only critter container out there ANYWHERE that is perfect for my black widows needs. She needs something that is vertical and has the opening at the bottom since she prefers to make her hammock web, and spends most of her time up at the top of her habitat. (You can turn this thing upside down so the opening is at the bottom, the lid stays shut) That way there are no ooops when I open the lid and she tries to jump on my face (just kidding, she would never do that).Second of all, I don’t know who in their right mind would give this a bad review because the “plastic isn’t clear”. It’s obvious there is a protective film over it and needs to be peeled off. I mean.... come on.... I feel like that review was a joke. Once the protective film is removed, this sucker is crystal clear. It’s so clear that when it gets dusty, all I have to do is lightly blow on it, and the dust flies off. It also makes it super good for filming and photo opps. Because all black widows are divas for the camera.Third of all, this thing is so darn easy to put together it’s INSANE. it’s easy to take apart and put together for easy cleaning. My 5 year old could put this together (I don’t have a 5 year old, but if I did, they would slap this baby together in minutes) and even though this thing is easy to put together and take apart, it’s sturdy af. I mean I trust it to safely contain my deadly black widow in a house full of clumsy savage feral kids. And yes, even 5 year olds (I babysit).ALSO, You can have this thing horizontal, too. For those critters that like long short habitats. The lid is magnetic and stays shut no matter how your critter likes to live. There is one wall with no air holes. So if you do use it horizontally, the critters poo won’t fall out. Heck you could even hang it from the ceiling if you wanted to get crazy creative. The air holes are small enough to keep a small jumping spider contained but big enough to fit a water mister nozzle, so you can mist water droplets for drinking or just moister for those tropical species.I suggest buy this thing!! Don’t look anywhere else because there is none. This is the only one!! I have several of my black widow owning friends asking me about this. It has become quite popular in the black widow community. I’m actually going to buy a second one just to have it just in case they sell out. Who knows.... I may get another widow, too.I would also like to add that if your widow (or other small creature) were to ever reproduce, the air holes may not contain wee tiny babies. But I have a solution for a temporary containment (critter pack n’ play) Just simply slide a nylon stocking over the whole container to cover the air holes. The creature can still breathe and keep her babies from escaping.

Cheap, Crystal Clear & Easy Assembly
Cheap, easy to put together and does exactly what I needed it to do! I got 2 of these for my mantis nymphs. Ventilation holes are a bit too big and fruit flies can escape from them but nothing a thin layer of mesh can't fix. It is super clear once you remove the protective film from BOTH sides of each panel and the assembly was super easy. Its super secure once you place the included elastic rings. Ignore the bad review, that person clearly doesn't know how to read descriptions and follow simple instructions.

Terrible waste of money
This product is about 20 cents of plastic that comes with no instructions, is tricky to assemble, is smaller than the picture would have you believe and is made of opaque plastic that does not let you see what's inside. You would need to hold it together with some kind of glue. There is no latch for the door, so you would have to figure out how you would keep that closed with tape or a rubber band. All that for $16. Note the dimensions are in cm (centimeter) not in (inches), so it is about 4in x 4in x 7in. Not many reptiles will fit in this. You might be able to use it for raising lady bugs but you wouldn't be able to see them. Get a big jar free and poke holes in the lid for free. Save your MoneyI requested a refund after wasting 10 minutes trying to assemble it. -5 stars would be appropriate. Amazon refunded my money instantly on request. Thank you Amazon for the refund, shame on you for listing this junk.

Great for big spiderlings or juveniles
Assembly was easy, it's perfect for my smaller invertebrates, and the magnet lock makes it easy for me to do routine maintenance in the enclosure

As advertised
Small, clear, acrylic enclosure just as advertised. The review stating you are unable to see through it likely did not remove the acrylic protection that is very clearly stated in the product description and pictures. There is a small magnetic latch as well for lid security. Nothing fancy, but surprisingly solid once secured with the included bands.

Perfect size for abroreal slings!
Ignore the bad reviews the size is clearly listed and those complaining about it not being clear did not remove the protective film (this is arcylic which scratch easy hence the protective film). I was able to get the film off with my nails but you can also use a razor blade on the edges. The size is perfect for raising abroreal slings which is what I am using it for. This can even be used for fossorial species if it's filled with more substrate.

Not expected
The size was smaller then expected, but it serves its purpose of holding my frogs while I clean the tank, it's pretty good overall

Tiny but useful.
I was quite disappointed in how small it was after being assembled. But that’s my fault for not paying attention to the measurements. BUT… I’m still able to use it just NOT for a tarantula like I wanted to at first. Plus I don’t feel so secure about how well it is sealed. But I do plan on using it for like a little greenhouse.
