Really like this heater/stat combo. The heater, with a black background to the tank, blends very well. Normally I have used external heaters for visual reasons, but this one remains hidden pretty well. The heater and wiring is bigger/longer than they look in the picture. This was a relief, at least for the wiring length. It also comes with a UK plug.It's very easy to use. You adjust with a simple button to the desired temperature and the second readout gives you the current temperature. Ideally, they would be very close or the same. There's a warning buzzer if things go off limits. This is great, much better than just a visual warning. The wall mounting extra is good, but mine had no sticky pad to fix it to the wall! Luckily, I had one to use. So, easy 5***** for me. Pricing is really good via Amazon. Cheaper than other suppliers.

Easy to use ad set up, handy to have the digital display, the heater has been getting used for almost 1 year and only issue I have is the suction pads are not the greatest they come loose after so long but other than that the case is strong, easy to clean and keeps temperature at a good steady level I've not had to do anything with it except give it a clean down when needed. Set the desired temp and it'll keep it steady level.I've recommended this one to alot of fishkeepers and all are happy with the product.

First impressions are it's good quality with good features and the temperature is accurate. It has overheat protection which is important if it goes faulty, this is mentioned in the manual but not in the advert. The manual is excellent detail. Having the temperature controls outside of the aquarium is a plus. The heater is slow heating up the aquarium but heats up in steps, an intended feature. The only downside is the two glass suckers are poor quality and break easily on connecting to the mounting gap. Be real careful attaching the suckers use a pen or something to slide them into place.My TMC V2 heater went faulty after 13 months so I have replaced it with this heater.3 week update: The heaters are working fine but the heaters won't heat past 24C. There should be some heat redundancy due to using 2 heaters in a 200l aquarium but there isn't. 5W of heat per gallon is ample. Due to the design that the heaters take stages to heat up. The waters cooling down again.13A fuse fitted when it should be 3A

Great product for the price had to buy this as an extra heater for my tropical aquarium during the winter as the one I had wasn't strong enough ,has a warning beeper when temp is to low and a display to show temp

Product is a hazard, this product is fine for the first day, however before I turned on the lights, I noticed that it was glowing completely orange in the dark and then heard a bubbling noise like a kettle.I then turned on the lights, and found that two of my stendker discus was dead stuck to it and then saw that the bubbling was emitting from the cheap seal at the end and then noticed the scorched marksI shut the sockets down at my fuse board before unplugging this and have reported this as a hazard concern, which amazon has said that they will remove this item and strict actions will be taken against the seller, however in the case that they don't, I must say do not buy as you can get shocked and potentially end up in hospital or worst case scenario dead or may set fire to your property!(Update 24.08.23 still shocked to see that despite so many people having issues with potential electric shock, that amazon has still allowed this product to be sold despite their reassurance it would be removed, I guess someone needs to die in order to prove that it's dodgy...)

My old heater was faulty and not working properly. My coral was not opening. So I ordered this heater and it came early the next day, which was great. Very good price, really easy to set up ,and temperature gauge was on the outside so really easy to monitor, completely digital and an audible alarm If any problems occur. Brilliant heater.

Bought for a new tank, stopped reading correct temperature and gives warning sound for water too cold. However the temperature of the heater is set to 25c and this is confirmed by another digital thermometer. Such a shame as now I need another one and hoping the seller can send out a new oneHave bought this one before and works fine after 1 year in another tank. So maybe I just got a faulty one or got lucky last time
