I bought this book to help my nephew who is currently attending a gift to school. He was nervous about it so I did some research and came to conclusion that this author Nicole Howard have the knowledge I needed to help him be more confident. It has an explanation and overview of the test, tips and strategy for test preparation and two practice tests for each section. The sections are verbal battery, nonverbal battery, and quantitative battery. Each section is broken down completely and in full details to make sure you get the best and quickest results. it even has tips for you as the parent or teacher to assist them with an optimal performance. Having access to 54 bonus questions was wonderful as well. That way you can further test if they understand the information being presented with new random questions. If my nephew decides he doesn't want to take the test he still will benefit personally from learning the skills taught in this book. I recommend this book to have maximum preparation for success.

Not a well designed book. The quality of questions is just ok. Typos can be found here and there.

Great book, helped us get ready for the COGAT test.

Poorly written non-verbal and verbal questions

This practice book is just that a practice book! Very helpful coverage from verbal , non-verbal questions. The information is there to help the mind wanting to learn grow. I find this helpful and will use with and for my children as they age up through the educational system.
