GREAT CASTING LURE FROM SURF
Using the lure on beach in Florida east coast. Many catches with JACKS in am. Lure very visible in water and makes enough action in water to attract fish. So far holding up well in saltwater. Lure is weighted just right for longer casting when necessary.

Pretty!
My personal review is, "wow, that's a pretty lure!" My husband wasn't impressed with that response. He says that this is a high quality lure and that the size was great for a fishing trip on the Great Lakes in Wisconsin. He didn't actually catch anything with it but he swears that wasn't the lures fault... or his.... Must have been too bright that day? Who knows. Anyways, he would recommend this if you need a 2,789th lure like he did. ;)

Can't wait to try this in the Spring!
I'm writing this at the end of December 2020, so it's too early to try this lure out. So I am evaluating it on the basis of whether I would be willing to pay $13 for it! Here are my observations:First of all, I will be using it to fish for largemouth bass on Lake Allatoona here in Georgia. IT should also work well for saltwater fishing,This is a topwater lure for surface fishing. As the title says it is a popper so will act like a small bass striking the surface. Should attract a lot of attention! The color of the one I got is green and black on the tops with yellow sides and a white underbelly. Good colors for attracting big bass. It has a glossy finish and there are internal facets that will generate good flash to attract attention. The 3D eyes will also reflect light so you should be able to get lots of action, noise, and flashing from it.It is almost 5 inches long so will work for bass from about 3 pounds and up, although even a 1 or 2 pounder might give it a shot. Bass can eat a fish that is up to about half it's length! The best target size would be about 3 pounds and larger though.Since this is a topwater lure, the best time to use it will be during the spawn in the Spring when the water is between about 65 to 75 degrees F. The bass will be spawning in shallow water at this time and will be protecting their nest. Of course, they will also be eating! There are split rings for connecting the hooks and also for connecting the line to the lure. Using a split ring for the hooks makes it easy to change them. I'm not sure about the hooks that came with the lure, so will probably change them out just to make sure I have good quality. The description claims they are good quality hooks, but I would prefer to be safe. Hook quality and sharpness are important! The lure has all the qualities I would look for in a lure for big bass. With 15 to 20 pound line, I hope it will help me catch a nice 10 pounder!
