The device is OK, but I do not recommend the Diamondg tip. It is ineffective. I tried it on myself first and noticed it did not grind my nails and it hurt and got hot easily. I tried it on my dog carefully - again, no real effect on grinding her nails. I bought a Dremel Micro and a Diamagroove tip from Whitman's instead. It was much more expensive, but actually works, doesn't hurt or get so hot. We use it all the time so it will be worth it.

I bought this item to try rather than using clippers to trim my dogs nails. What a great decision. I will not go back to clippers. The grinder works great, grinds the nail smoothly, and the bowl on the top of the grinder allows me to smooth the tip of my dog's nails so they are not sharp. The battery on the dremel lasted for 2 sharpenings. Would highly recommend!

I used the dog nail trimmer at the most 5 times then it died. I have a GSP and the motor needed to have a bigger motor to trim his nails and last.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this tool, until it quit. I bought it in October, and the motor failed in January. I’m not a groomer. I only used this on my own dogs. I have sent multiple emails to the company and have gotten no response.
