I do a lot of outdoor stuff. So waterproof is a must. I dropped my phone in the river at least 5 times this summer. Nothing got in. It works! The only problem is the charging port cover, it breaks off easily. I’ve had it for 4 months and I’m already filling out a warranty claim on it.

get what you pay for. well made.

This is probably like most reviews you’ve seen of this product. The case build quality is nothing like life proof used to be. Their cases used to be fantastic and had made a certain level of expectations to the name. This falls so far short of those expectations it isn’t even funny. Not only is there hardly any grip especially the 12 Pro Max version cause of its size, but it’s made of a slick plastic with very little rubber and it’s slippery and even falls out of pockets especially with the added girth of the case. People buy cases to keep their slippery phones from coming out of their pockets among many other reasons. Also the plastic screen protector is garbage and has rows of little dots across the display that are visible no matter what level of brightness you set your display to, it’s even more apparent when you have your brightness turned up and especially in sunlight where most people that buy these cases use their phones in the first place and got this case for that purpose. Also Face ID isn’t functional unless you open the case and there’s a tiny little plastic sticker in front of where the front camera is that you can pick off with your finger nail and then wipe away the adhesive and Face ID functions normally again. Users shouldn’t have to modify the case to have full functionality of their $1000+ device after also paying $90 for this case.. also the water proof seal is useless if you ever want to take your phone out of the case after the first installation the rubber seal pops out of the rear frame and is almost impossible to get back into its groove without one of the corners you just stuck back in, popping back out, kinda like a more pain in the ass version of putting on a fitted sheet by yourself. Basically, don’t waste your money on this case unless you are rich and have money to throw away and gamble on a possibly useless case. I used it for 2 days and have had it sitting here on my desk in the package ever since and got a different case. This case isn’t even worth $20 bucks, let alone $90. I could see a case having all these issues if it WERE $20, but it’s quadruple that price tag. Otterbox if you’re reading this by ANY chance, go back and refer to LifeProof’s original designs and how they made their cases and then don’t add any of your own input to it or change it in any way other than the fit of the new devices. Stay true to the original LifeProof roots.. your cases are garbage and that’s why people buy LifeProof to begin with; yet you guys got your greedy little hands on the company and took it down to the crappy quality of your cases and left it at the $90 price tag.. it’s disappointing.. you guys cut corners and kept the original price of the cases without lowering it just to make more money, and thought people wouldn’t notice… we ALL noticed. Especially long time fans of LifeProof. I’m not one to rip companies to shreds, and usually never leave reviews, but for $90 wasted when I’m a landscaper and needed this case to be reliable, I can’t let it go unsaid that this case isn’t worth it.. and had to speak up in hopes to protect another user from making the same mistake and wasting almost a hundred dollars.

I have been a faithful LifeProof customer since the iPhone 4. When I got my 12 XS Max, getting a LifeProof case was the obvious thing to do. I ordered one for both my husband and I. We finally got our cases and we put them on immediately. In the past, there has not been an issue with the cases and having a glass screen protector underneath but with this case, we had to remove our glass screen protectors. For some reason it made the front bubble up to the point we had to physically press down just to get any response from the screen. Once we removed them, we have not had any issues with the screen. I do feel like the sides of the case don't completely close, as there is gapping on both sides and no matter how much I press it together, it doesn't stay. Also, the door on the charging port is probably the poorest I have seen. We have only had our cases maybe two weeks and the hinge is already worn. It is only a matter of time before it snaps off. Besides that, I am very happy with this case. It is thin but protective and it is definitely grippy. I read one review that said the case was slick and I do not have that issue at all. I also read another review that mentioned dots on the screen protector. My case also has those but it in no way affects the screen or the view and I can only seen them then my screen is off and I hold my phone at an angle. Decent case, but the price point is crazy. It's about time LifeProof became budget friendly.

I really like this case and I finally found one that fit

I was kinda disappointed in this product for it to be so expensive it seems to be cheaply made compared to cheaper cases that had MUCH better quality. The case itself is kind of slippery I’ve dropped it a few times trying to text with one hand or take a photo. Make sure your phone camera lens is clean before putting it in the case or you’ll have smudges in your pictures. The camera protector it’s convenient but it smudges easy. I haven’t used this case underwater so I don’t have any insight on that. Overall I’m going to use this case because I spent 50 bucks on in but would I recommend it to a friend, definitely not.

I have used this brand for years.I drop my phone all the time.It protects my phone. After several years of having the same phone and case my phone still looked brand new.I like this case but the camera part scratches easily. The case not the actual phone.

Great case, holds up to everyday life's mishaps. As a clumsy person I'm super glad I have this case. Saved me on numerous occasions. Great style to it very happy overall.

Excelente protector cumple con su función

En lo personal en mi trabajo se tiene mucho polvo y es un ambiente rudo por mis actividades. Desde el anterior celular le había conseguido la carcasa para su versión correspondiente. En lo personal me ayudan bastante el anterior celular con su carcasa Lifeproof me duró 4 años (y sigue corriendo) sin ningún daño.La diferencia del anterior Lifeproof case (7 vs 12) es que el anterior venía carcasa y una mica de protección. La carcasa del 12 viene la carcasa y viene un plástico adherido a la carcasa pero cumple su función.Para mi me sirven mucho este tipo de carcasa, si le aumenta volumen al celular pero no me afecta, mientras lo mantenga en buen estado.El pedido me llegó en tiempo y forma.

It’s not dust proof and the sealing came off almost straight away.Now worth it

I’m so beyond annoyed the rubber/ silicone ones I ping came off after my holiday. I have another one that requires a waterproof case tomorrow and I swapped my phone case back to life proof and o can’t use it now.I’ve tried to put the rubber back but it’s so loose it won’t fit and stay put. I am beyond annoyed!I overpaid for this phone case as it is, just to use it for a few days. Ridiculous
