Since the 1950's Worden's original Rooster Tail has been and still is one of the most productive spinners around. Used to catch just about any gamefish, the Rooster Tail's pulsating hackle tail and attractive spinning action will make fish strike, many times when nothing else will work. 1/24 oz.

Go to multi species lure
I have been using these for over 3 years and they are now my go to lures I go for browns and yellows for a natural look and vary speed each cast, great for covering water, I have caught 2 inch sunfish and 4 pound bass on the 1/16 size, excels at trying a new location, getting skunked on everything else, or just looking to catch a ton of fish, if I had to pick one lure for the rest of my life it would be this. I have also had about 5 fish die because they have inhaled this! They love it

No luck
I have a river behind my house where I've caught a number of different sizes and types of fish. I wanted a lure to catch bass with, but after hundreds of casts I've had one hit and caught no fish. I bought three different sizes and colors of these and tried morning, noon and dusk to no avail. Not sure what the problem is, but I'll be going back to live bait as my experience with these has been a complete bust.

This tiny spinner catches fish
This tiny little 1/24oz spinner is the perfect lure when fishing a creek. I use these as a search bait when I’m moving around a creek or going across spillways, and the fish just go crazy for it. So far I’ve caught massive bluegills on it, as well as creek bass and little pickerels. This will be a killer for trout as the cooler temps come around. The hooks are sharp, but tiny so do be careful when you’re handling it with pliers so they don’t bend. Whether you’re chasing trout or just wanting a bite on the creek, this is a must in your tackle box.

I buy the blank white and my wife paints them ...
I buy the blank white and my wife paints them with nail polish for me.Cant beat making your own colors and the price of these are unbeatable. The spinner is painted same color as lure but nail polish remover exposes ROOSTER TAIL LOGO and the customary shiny spinner.THUMBS UP

A classic lure
I grew up fishing Rooster Tails as one of the first lures I ever used. Awesome for catching everything from small sunfish/bluegills and every kind of bass. It's hard to fish it wrong. These are the reasons why I ordered them for my kids. Only suggestion is be careful where you fish them. They hang up and get snagged easy.

Blade spin
This lure catches lots of fish "IF" you can get the blade to spin. I have caught several different species of fish on this lure and it seems to catch more fish than other spinners. But there seems to be a design flaw that about 30% of the time, the blade doesn't spin.

Buy this if you like catching fish
I feel like everybody's old man has a rooster tail in their tackle box. I know my dad did and now my son's dad does. I'm not sure what took me so long to buy one of these but I will definitely be buying more color combinations because it does catch fish.

Fantastic for trout .
This is a great little spinner. Works great in murky waters with the gold blade. 1/16 oz is a nice size for most trout species. One of my favourites . Almost lost it and had to hop in the river to get it off the tree limb. Lol

Decent product
Works pretty well. The blade occasionally gets stuck on the retrieve, but nothing a quick shake won't fix. Be aware of the sizing.
