MCS 4x6 Inch Format Frame, Black (10439)

I've bought dozens of these for various postcards, and they always look great. They allow what's being framed to dominate, as the black plastic frame is very thin. Also, the black plastic is relatively matte (vs. shiny), so they don't look cheap at all.Another advantage I've discovered is that if I have a postcard or image that is smaller than 4x6, placing it atop the provided black posterboard allows me to "float" it -- and the fact that you put the glass on top means you can make sure that it's centered, and the tight fit of the glass means the image stays put (rather than falls down to the bottom).Also, the fact that the hanging mechanism is a hole within the back armature means that when you hang it on a nail or a hook, the frame lies flush against the wall -- very sleek, unlike when frames have easel backs or are hanging by a hook that juts out.I also appreciate that the entire image can be viewed (unlike with other frames where you place the image behind the frame, and the border cuts into the viewable space).One note of caution: Don't buy more than 6 at a time. 6 or fewer frames get packaged in a small cardboard box within the greater packaging, ensuring that none breaks. But when I ordered 12 at a time, they were just thrown in willy nilly, and 1/3 of them were broken in some way. They're cheap enough that I didn't make a fuss, but if you want them all to arrive intact, I'd suggest placing separate orders for each set of 6.Other than that, I can only rave about these! Other sizes I've purchased (5x7, 8x10) have also been wonderful.

Exactly what I needed. I went to hobby lobby trying to find a frame that would fit a 4x6 photo but with a thin black frame (its for my boyfriend and he’s not into big and fancy. He’s a simple guy) but anyway, I went to hobby lobby and they had a pack of 4 for $16. Wasn’t exactly the frame I wanted or the price I wanted to spend and I really didn’t need 4 frames. So this was perfect!! And I got it very quickly! Simple black frame. Fits my 4x6 photo perfectly!

Glass is super clear. Love the style. The frame part is plastic but not a shiny plastic. It looks professional. The frames sort of disappear when hanging on wall. Easy to open, fill, and hang. Will order more and will recommend to friends.

I got these for the art cards I got with my copy of Shadow of the Tomb Raider since I didn't want to stick them directly to the wall. They fit the cards perfectly, and I love that they're front-loading. You can use them as tabletop frames, as it has the piece for it on the back, but I like to put my frames on the wall, so I left it alone. All you have to do is take the glass out, put in the picture, snap the glass back in the corners, and you can display it however you want. It makes my art cards look more official, and saves them from getting sticky residue on the back, or from being damaged by adhesive. The edges are also very small, so they don't take up too much space, and you can use small mounting squares to hang them. This is my favorite brand of frames and the only one I use. I definitely recommend them.

I got a bunch of these frames for my project after reading the reviews here and counting in the price.They worked just fine for me. These are pretty wide on the sides, meaning when you have them on the wall they don't just lay there flat but stick out a little bit.Please note that they are still a little bigger that 4 by 6". I had about .5 mm free space on top/bottom and on the side. But since the format itself is small, it's not noticeable when they hang on the wall.This is probably the best you can find for the price.I also was pleasantly surprised to see that the seller shipped them via UPS, not USPS, and they were packed really good.

I am considered physically disabled paralyzed on one whole side somewhat visually impaired, this is nice way of shopping, without, needing to schedule or order DISABLED VAN to pay fare to and from store. If they sell this item at a store in my small city of a town. Yes this item has been useful to me.
