I was dissappointed when I opened the box and there was no paperwork, but I was able to pull up all the info I needed on Amazon. I turned one on, and it tickled me to death because of how bright it was, right out of the box. I immediately went to order more for my kids but the price had doubled, oh well. I will still reorder for them but will now have to plan them into my budget. Here in Florida, we lose our power often. I at least have the ability NOT to be in the dark.

I bought these lights for when the power goes out we’d have something that works better than a flashlight. I’ve already had to use them a few times and if they broke tomorrow I’d just buy some more. These were a great purchase especially for the price. I’ve only ever used them for maybe an hour or so at a time so I can’t say how long they last but I keep them fully charged in a drawer and so far haven’t had one fail on me.

Quality control is not good. I bought 8 of these bulbs, one bulb didn't work out of the box and a second bulbs battery failed to charge after two months. They are advertised to last 4 hours. My testing gave me 1 hour of continuous light at its peak brightness. After 1 hour the brightness greatly reduced to the equivalent of a Bic lighter at which time they lasted another hour and some minutes before going out at various times from one another. They are good enough to get you through a short lasting power outage or longer if you don't need the fixtures on for an extended amount of time.

Have had any use for them yet but we did try them an they seem to work just fine I thought the price was kinda high but when the lights go out price isn't the question.......just saying

We recently had a power outage and these bulbs stayed on as expected. Since the outage happened in the morning and we still had daylight, I unscrewed the bulbs to conserve whatever power they had left. Later on as darkness was approaching, I screwed the bulbs back in and they gave forth light even though power had not yet been restored. So I am pretty happy with them.

This was going to be the answer to a wish for more outlets in my home. I do have it working on an older lamp and that is wonderful, although an adapter was needed to get the lamp to light (lamps are very old.) I also had hoped to use the bulb in a (three switch) torchere that is also very old, the bulb would not light so I didn't play with that too much. It is possible the old lamps I have need attention and may have gotten jostled when I moved. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase, not sure how I can recharge these bulbs but I am enjoying it for now.
