I developed psoriasis for the first time in my life about eight months ago. Nothing horrible, but I had a few quarter-sized splotches on my calves and thighs. My dermatologist prescribed me an ointment but it wasn't doing anything. Like...nothing. And it can only be used for three months at a time in order to not deal with thinning skin.I had another month until I saw my derm again, and saw that UV therapy could help. And this little gadget helped! While it didn't 100% clear up my spots, it certainly faded them and I stopped getting new spots. I started at 30 seconds once a day, and worked up to 1 minute/day.The machine itself is a little clunky, but I like how you can program it to how long you want it to run, I like the comb thing so that you know exactly how close you can get it to your skin, and it seems sturdy. Nothing broke, and it works like a charm. I only burned myself once because I lost track on the areas I was treating, but it didn't hurt. It was just a light red mark for a couple days.I am currently on a different ointment and a 2x/day pill, so I'm pretty much cleared up (for now), but I'm going to be holding onto this thing forever, because god knows when I'll have another flare.

I was looking for something a bit more natural to work with my scalp psorasis which I've had since I was a kid and I'm I'm my 30s no shampoos fully work for me. And I didn't want to do immune suppression pills. I take vitamins and everything but this is a great extra tool. I can do it at home and move it around my head and my ears get bad as well. I used to get huge patches of dry spots on my scalp but since using it for a few weeks a few times a week it's gone down. I still can see dry spots and the psorasis but it seems like it's less so win win!

Sorry if this is tmi. I have had skin fold/glutate psoriasis since the 1970’s, primarily in my private areas, and over those years there have been times I’ve developed a secondary fungus. Sometimes when my psoriasis was too much to bear I would go to a tanning salon. It was not practical to do that. I bought this light and if you are a long time sufferer it’s what you would realistically hope for - some relief to the unbearable pain and itching, though of course it is not a cure.I’ve used it for two weeks, fifty-one seconds per day, and I move the light around the affected area, and it provides the relief I need. My goal is to use it a couple time per week.Clearing is noticeable in two weeks. Some relief from pain and itching has been a blessing. Any serious psoriasis sufferer knows that sun feels good on your skin, this is like that.

I have suffered 15 years of battling excema and psoriasis. I've tried steroid creams, changing my diet, changing soap, tried skin probiotics... Nothing worked. THIS LIGHT IS FINALLY WORKING. I WISH I HAD KNOWN EARLIER!!!!I was apprehensive because of the cost. But it is totally worth it knowing now that it's finally working.I had itch relief after the first treatment, and saw redness reduction after about 3-4 treatments. The key is consistent. I do a 3-5 minute treatment every 3 days. I've been using it for a month and have seen significant improvements. Certain patches are already gone, and the rest are about 50 percent reduced. I've also seen massive itch relief which I think helps the healing process.My recommendation is IT'S WORTH THE MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT FINALLY WORKS.just be consistent and patient and diligent.

I've been using the UVB Light Wand for about two full weeks and I am definitely seeing results. My legs, back, and stomach are roughly 80% covered with both plaque and guttate psoriasis, and maybe 50% of my arms. I have been using every day, starting with 15 seconds per spot and am now up to 45 seconds. My scales are much less white with clearly diminishing areas of red patches. I was going to wait for 6-8 weeks before reviewing but that fact that I am seeing positive results so quickly compelled me to share my experience now. Depending on the areas you want to treat it can take a long time to get it all done. I am at it for about 45 minutes if I want to cover most of my break-out areas. This is only increasing with the cyclic bumping up of exposure time. To me however this time is well spent when compared with how I feel when a stranger looks at me like I have the plague when I wear short pants or short sleeves in public. In short, if you're on the fence with purchasing this product I would encourage you to go for it has I am absolutely convinced that you will be happy with your results. By the way, the included comb-like apparatus is for ensuring that you are keeping the device at the appropriate distance away from your skin, not as "hair comb" as one popular YouTube psoriasis blogger stated.

I am so glad I purchased this. I had psoriasis on my hands and feet that would not subside. Days I couldn’t walk. I looked into getting a membership at a tanning bed but now a days they are all stand up. I sucked it up and bought this. After 2 years of pain and suffering I can walk with ease and no pain. I do not have the plaque at all anymore. My feet feel like feet again and if you suffer what I suffer from you know what I mean. Caution* - you can burn yourself like a sunburn! Start with small amounts and do not go up quick. I learned the hard way but still extremely grateful I purchased this! You want it to just work fast but it only took about a month for it to clear up and I have been battling this for way to long. I waited to write this review until I used it to actually know if it worked!
