Does exactly what it’s for. Keeps you warm. Fairly heavy. No smell. Sometimes wool will have an odor to it. It’s fairly soft. But not the softest I’ve ever felt. Overall the quality of the build is excellent.

very nice and clean with no chemical odor. Used blanket same day because of sub freezing temperature. Warm and comfy. End lacing is only along the top and bottom widths no end lacing on length edges. Very nice to not have chemical smell.

Well made. Not as warm as I would like. It does not substitute for a cold weather sleeping bag. It is heavy. A bit on the small side when using, I use 2 to cover the bed.

This blanket is extremely heavy. Has a strange smell. But seems super durable. I hope that once I wash it it will get softer. It’s very stiff.

I wanted this blanket for its color. I made it into a capote. Its a 60/30 wool blend. Weighs 6 lbs. Tight weave and blocks the wind very well. Heavier than most wool blankets. The color is not gray, its more of a tan. The color in the image is accurate. Being wool, it is scratchy against the skin.Seller was responsive to inquires.

I received my blanket today. I was pretty disappointed. The blanket is smaller than the 66” by 90” mentioned in the description. Widthwise, one end measures 59.5” and the other end measures 62”. Lengthwise, it measures 85”. (See photos) It was visibly crooked. It looked like someone cut it with some dull scissors. The ends are frayed and uneven. Another reviewer mentioned no chemical odor. Mine, however, DOES have a strong chemical smell to it.The color is nice and I’m sure it’s warm. But I can’t get past the poor quality and smell enough to try it out. Unfortunately, I have to return it.
