Fundamentals Of Photonics, 2Nd Edition

One of the best general-purpose texts I've seen on optics; all the math and a lot of practical applications as well. If you are a not fluent in the science and math, this text is probably beyond you; if you use this stuff in your everyday life and can deal with physics-level math - EXCELLENT!

Great optics book. Wouldnt recommend for self study though. Very dense

The book is great. But the publisher forgot to print all the pages. some pages are empty.

I purposely bought the book new so that I could re-sell it if I don't need it in a year. Great resource for Photonics, but before I even used it at all the book was severely damaged in shipping. The back cover is all mangled and much of the index is ripped and torn as a consequence.Pretty disappointing to see a brand new book so poorly packaged.

The book is great and covers everything I want.

It’s not that much cheap for this quality. it is a pooh grade printed version.

Same as the regular version. Same chapters and appendices. You never know with the international versions. Only difference is that it is paperback and figures are not coloured. Good book too.
