Gardman7682 Netting Grow Tunnel, Black Polyethylene, 10' Long x 18" High

I think the description has been updated to correctly specify the length as about 10', which is what I received. When installed it is also about 1' high, as is indicated on the package. This might not be tall enough for some plants but was sufficient to protect my seedlings from rabbits and birds. Like one of the other reviewers, I had some problems with the hoops slipping out of the netting during installation, but once installed, I was pretty happy with the product. It seems to be of pretty good quality and should last several seasons. I did use a lot of ground staples to secure the sides. This was a good enough product that I am ordering another.

Fairly easy to set up, helper is a plus. Be aware that the wires will easily slip out of the mesh and kinda time consuming to thread back on. Would be good idea to add a rubber washer or maybe tape to stop it from slipping off. The ends do not close completely, so you have to adjust it accordingly to help keep flying insects out. Mice and squirrels will scoot right under it.

This is a great product!!! Every year I lose plants to munching rabbits - they eat the young leaves and shoots which stunts the growth of the plant and interrupts the normal stages of flowering and fruiting. And anything delicate like lettuces would be devoured. All that was before i tried this product - this row cover is super easy to use, I only used 2 additional pins on each end to keep the cover firmly on the ground, and the cover allows ample sun yet slight shade for plants sensitive to direct sun all day. Rain and watering gets through with no problem, and even strong storms did not dilodge the covers. It seems to be very durable and usable for multiple seasons. A great buy!!

This netting is doing a great job of keeping the critters from eating my strawberries. It is easy to reach under the side for harvest, and I just water right through the top.My garden bed is only about half the length of the tunnel, and the material was easy to trim to size.I think the product will do a good job of keeping the Arizona sun from cooking the plants, although it hasn't been hot enough yet to know for sure.

I ordered this earlier this week and it just arrived. It was exactly what I had expected. Setup was super easy, it took all of 5 minutes. It fits perfectly, it's very light and easy to handle and my row looks great. I just ordered 3 more.I wanted to add to this comment. I bought this 2 years ago, and it's still in excellent shape. It does the job perfectly. I'd love to buy more but it is now twice as expensive compared to what I bought it for :(

I love these! Bought 3 already in buying another three. Great for keeping bug eggs and worms off your small plants. Of course you need to remove when your plants are big enough to survive some insect damage. They're quite tall and can stay on for most of the season. Chipmunks are rabbits possibly could get in to the structure. If that's what you're trying to fight off then just buy some fabric Staples and batten down the hatches more. I highly recommend these and they look beautiful in my garden.

Before you buy, compare this product to Tierra Garden 50-5030 Haxnicks Easy Micromesh Tunnel Garden Cloche, Giant. My son bought me the Tierra tunnel for mother's day. I've used it for 2 seasons. I bought the Gardman just this year. Had it in the ground for 2 months. The Tierra's metal stakes still look great. And they're much easier to insert, with a much more pronounced bend to the 'shoulders'. The Gardman stakes are already rusting, after just two monthes. And the very slight bend to their shoulders makes them much fidgetier to insert. The mesh on the Gardman also keeps wanting to ride up the stakes. The Tierra mesh stays in place. Spend a little bit more, get a product that will last a lot longer.

So far I love these. Easy to put up and they keep the bugs off of my cabbage and zucchini. They are big enough to put over things like full heads of cabbage, but that would be about as wide across as you could probably go. Watch the packaging - at the bottom are two small metal stakes that you will use to secure the ends into the ground. I almost missed seeing those. I think these could hold up for 2-3 growing seasons.
