I purchased this shaving kit for my son who is in the Navy. He wanted to try his hand at old school shaving like his grandfather used to do. When he received it he was more than pleased. In fact, I haven't seen him this excited about a gift from me in quite some time. The biggest bonus is that I've been telling him that natural scents and essential oils are the way to go. He's only used those horrid Axe sprays and nauseating colognes since he was a pre-teen. After he smelled the soap and aftershave, his words, "I'm never going back!"This kit is very well put together. I have been shaving with this kit for about 2 months now and have had no issues or reactions. I did not experience a 'break-in' period with my skin. The aftershave balm is the nicest part of the kit. The proprietor has a well thought out product with handsome packaging; plus he emails you personally after you order, which speaks positively about his products.

Got this for my dad who shaves everyday. Entirely new experience as described by him in explicit detail. The cigar box was an awesome touch. The brush is of great quality and almost made him feel like he was in a barber shop getting a real shave. It'll be a great fathers day, Christmas, or birthday present for anyone who enjoys shaving.
