Nice. Came charged enough to assess and use right away, but then I fully charged, as recommended. This nicely-engineered endoscope is just for phones, which is fine. I have an Android. First, download MZ Scope app from Google Play. Then it's easy enough to set up once you know that the scope has its own dedicated local wireless named "MZ Endoscope-5227" (which does not connect to the internet, nor is it running bluetooth).. go to your phone's wifi icon display and you will see this wifi pop up a couple seconds after you remove the instrument's cap. Not sure how it works, but it all automatically connects, and if you then go to the app, the camera picture pops up nicely. While the app is working via this app, it knocks your phone off the internet. But it goes back automatically once you put the cap back on the scope. It's nice not to worry about connecting a cable to your phone or notebook. Make the app go to English via the settings icon (unless you want the default Chinese). You can adjust the screen, take still photo or video. I like the setting labeled AI which keeps the image stable if you rotate the scope. I could visualize my ear canals and also the tympanic membrane of each ear. It's actually easier to use than a regular otoscope, which in any case you could not use on yourself. Further, I inspected some teeth, nostril etc and liked the resolution and lighting. Not sure the "blue light" actually disinfects anything but it does show sales effort by builder. Didn't try the wax-removal tips. I like this instrument, including the magnetic cap which snaps it back together and deactivates the scope's wireless. As far as wax removal, I favor the home use of the power-wash method (typically used by nurse or MD) since you are less likely to hurt yourself than ear wax picks or scoops.

This wireless otoscope is absolutely fantastic! I don't know how I have lived my life without having an otoscope like this. The fact that it's wireless and charges via USB is a fantastic decision by Softula to make their product like that.The otoscope comes in a tidy box with everything separated in a tray. An instruction booklet is included that explains the wireless connection and the controls used in the app. This unit performs exactly as it should and just as described in the details of this page. I am amazed with its precision, the clarity of the camera and the light. You can even take pictures and record videos.Easily 5 ☆ and I highly recommend giving it a try!

I get A LOT of ear infections and have chronic ear wax/dry ear problems. I bought this device so I wouldn't have to keep asking my partner for help looking into my ear to determine if it had wax/etc. This device also helps save me a trip to the doctor and gives me a lot of peace of mind whenever something in my ear doesn't feel right. It is VERY easy to use. I am still getting used to how awkward it can feel sometimes because occasionally, the picture lags by a half second and I struggle with the scale and depth perception of looking into my own ear but once I get the hang of it, this thing will be my life saver! I also love how you can use it to take pictures (especially since I am a Teladoc fan). I recommend this product if you have chronic ear issues and need to peace of mind to see for yourself.

Wow! I had no idea this type of thing with this tech was readily available like this. I have had problems with my ears since child-hood. I usually experience an ear infection once a year. I have over-active wax build up in my ear canal that creates a huge problem and I struggle to keep up with cleaning them "properly". It usually would involve some help from someone outside of myself.This little wonder allows me to do it all by myself! I wish I had found it sooner! My ears are now clean and my hearing is spot-on!Picture quality is amazing and it's an instantaneous video live-feed right to your phone or tablet so you can see perfectly what is going on in there. The led's are super bright for clarity. Easily to clean up also. I just used small alcohol towelettes to wipe off the small tool and the lens. Also uses a micro usb to charge (dime a dozen).I will definitely recommend this little unit to friends and family!Thank you! It's an amazing thing when plagued with hearing problems to finally find a solution.

I'd been looking for a quality video otoscope for some time and decided on this product after reading some reviews. I must say I've been very happy with the quality for the price. I have not had long-term use yet, but my initial impressions are great. The picture quality is more than sufficient. The app is not the most polished, but it does the job correctly. It has a build in blue light as well that is near the UV spectrum. This is good for getting additional contrast on some of the tissues in the ear. The gyroscope works flawlessly. This makes the tool very approachable. Overall, I have been quite satisfied and would recommend this otoscope to anyone in the market.

I have sensitive ears that recently feel itchy and I was worried there might be some infection. Just bought this a few days ago and writing this review after first use -Pros - 1) Very easy to install. It took me 3 minutes to download the app and set up the wifi connection between the iPhone app and the device. The app is very straightfoward to use as well; 2) The camera picture quality on the phone is excellent and easy to see as I insert the device deeper into the ear. It took 5 minutes to get use to the coordination between my hand and the picture, but once I get the hang of it, it was very easy to see which area has wax and target that area; 3) the blue light indicator is very handy and clear. 4) There is an disinfection mode that you can turn on by pressing a button on the app! Very good designcons - a little pricy.Overall - recommended
