More than perfect for my needs
The product is the best. But trying to reach All Clad either through the Internet (Under Construction) or on the phone is a different matter. Tried to get information from their customer service to purchase a spare silicon gasket is like nailing Jello to a tree. Stayed 58 minutes 01 seconds on the phone before I was cut off. Finally got a call from them after I posted a message on Facebook asking Where Are You? Got a number for a spare parts store. They found the spare gasket in France. Purchased 2.

Positive observations on engineering
A few points. The lid and controls quite well designed, especially the high hat black plastic surround with makes handling easier. I also liked the use of real buttons rather than membranes and did not miss the detailed listings of food types on other brands menus. I like that lid can be easily detached and the helpful instructions on the point. I also liked the independent button and subroutine for manual pressure releaseHave been using fagor and other modern stovetops for years. Recently tried the Breville which I felt was quirky especially on consistent lid sealing

As usual, All-Clad brings us the best of the best...
I have had two electric pressure cookers. Though they are easy to use, and almost completely hands-off, they have some definite disadvantages. They tend to be too small, they don't really get hot enough to get a true sear, and they have interior coatings that require that you handle them with kid gloves. This pressure cooker solves all these problems and you get (another!) wonderful All-Clad pot to add to your collection. Just being able to cook with the same techniques you would use with any other pot, and with any utensil, is worth the price. The fact that the pressure cooking functions work so beautifully is almost besides the point. I cannot recommend this enough - especially if you are a serious cook who doesn't like having to go easy on your appliances. This pressure cooker is large enough for any job and can take anything you throw at it.

Junk
Out of the box I got an ugly one—it had been used and the gasket didn’t work. Even if it did I wouldn’t keep it. It’s an overpriced Tefal/T-Fal one. It’s better to just get that and have a reliable and easy source for gaskets. This isn’t All Clads strong suit and ironically the pot isn’t even fully clad—again because it’s just a Tfal for suckers.

Prettiest Pressure Cooker I've ever owned!
Honestly, my only complaint is that I'd prefer an 8 quart to a 6-quart size! The top is permanently attached, which is okay too, but all the others I've had, the top came off completely. I've only cooked rice in it so far but worked as expected and the rice turned out perfect.
