Belkin screen protectors are always a good buy

Having successfully used Belkin Tempered Curved screen protectors on my iPhone X , I eagerly ordered the same for my new iPhone 11 Pro Max.Installation was straight forward but what was really disappointing was a gap between the edge of the glass and the Apple silicone case( didn’t have that with my iPhone X version) and a very distinct edge adjacent to the bottom speakers/charging socket. So much so I checked the X version and the edge finish on the iPhone 11 model is definitely poorer and very noticeable when swiping from the bottom up. Very disappointing.However, then installed a Belkin Invisiglass Ultra protector which does not have the curved edges but has smoother, better finished edges. And the gap to the silicone case is frankly not much greater than this curved version.Sorry a Belkin, the curved version is for me disappointing and I would recommend the cheaper InvisiglassUltra version instead.

For a product that costs £39.99, it’s really not worth it. Luckily I never paid full price for it but even spending £20 for it is too much. I don’t understand how the screen manages to crack by itself. I’ve never dropped my phone so there was no impact to cause this. The only reason I chose this screen protector was because I realised that the cheaper ‘brands’ distort the colour and clarity of your screen, so I thought the higher end products would be more accurate. At least the cheaper brands never cracked by themselves. I know it sounds stupid for something to crack by itself but it’s a true description. Maybe the adhesion caused tension? Who knows.

Nothing to dislike about this screen protector, easy to fit, bubble free, fits screen perfectly and no loss of sensitivity. It was double the price of my previous screen protector but that one was not easy to get central and when I did it still left a gap round the screen where dust can collect so even at double the price the Belkin still represents good value.

Wow I almost didn’t buy this due to all the negative reviews about fitting being difficult. I don’t understand what they were doing to get is so wrong. I fitted it bubble free in about 5 minutes if that. Separating layer 1 from the screen was a little difficult but one it started it was super easy. Put phone in box, line up marking tape, take phone out of box. Simple! With a case on you can’t even tell I have screen protector fitted!!!

Same as one purchased in Apple store. Easy to put on - had to redo as I had some fluff under it redid and ok
