PRO Series Throw Levers Compatible for Vortex Optics

I bought this throw lever for my Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6. The look and feel of the plastic throw lever were good. I would have been happy with the purchase price if it had worked. I had chosen this product because of it being half of the price of the metal one. It looked a lot better than the slightly cheaper one that is also made by MK Machining. My issue with the throw lever is that it I would not recommend it to anyone. The throw lever is held together with a long screw that threads through a nut. The nut is only held in place by friction (with some texture on the nut). There is no torque recommendation in the instructions. I looked up the torque spec (10in/lbs). DO NOT set your wrench to 10in/lbs and start turning). You will ruin the device. There is no hard stop while turning. It will slowly pull the nut throw the small bit of plastic that holds it in place. The screw is long and I felt no increase in resistance while turning. I wish that I had this warning when installing. Even with this warning, I would avoid. I do not thing that the device would last while doing normal turning of the scope. Heed my advice and by the 60 dollar one instead of buying the 30 dollar option and then 60 dollar one.

I have two of these. They worked great for a few months and then started to slip. Once that happens, it's over. You can't get them any tighter after that. Other than that, the look good and feel sturdy, but it has a short shelf life.

Excellent product. Excellent price. Original Vortex throw lever broke on 1st use. Replaced it with this one and love the product as well as the price.

Bought one of these for a Razor 1-6 and an Accupoint 1-4. Happy with both. They are well made and cost way less than the other brands.

This is a great fit on my Vortex Pst Gen 2 scope. Much easier to throw the magnification ring.

It’s a bit oversized for the project this was initially meant for. Could benefit to have a shorter length lever. That would be beneficial for those who transport their rifles to and from competitions like I do. Definitely keeping this though, because I’ve got another build in mind for this to go onto. Not a complaint but rather some user feedback.

Fits up perfectly to my Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50. At 6x magnification point the throw arm is right down to the left just above the picatinny tail on the AR10 receiver. All the way at 24x the arm is on the low right and sits just about 1/32” forward and above my 45 degree offset back up red dot. It is perfect. Perfect. Couldn’t have been better if it was custom made for my set up.

There were some bad reviews on this item. But it’s great! Great quality, fits perfectly on my scope, and great product for price! I’d buy it again for sure if I needed to.
