They are hard to plug and unplug into the unit but that is by design by lowrance.

Expensive but works.
I used this cable to hook up my Lowrance Hook 5 to a Minn Kota Foretrex trolling motor. The cable worked as advertised. It is nice not having a transducer strapped to the bottom of your trolling motor. I am giving it only 4 stars because of the ridiculous price of this very simple short cable. This cable should NOT cost 30+ dollars. It should not cost even half of that. But Minn Kota has us at their mercy and they can charge whatever. But it works.

Connection Complete
It was exactly what the doctor ordered. When I made the connection and the picture was as good as it ever was I was elated. There always seems to be something that isn't just right when you make changes but this time it was right on. I even recommended the connector to a friend when he upgraded his trolling motor.
