Energy Suspension 3.1142G Transmission Mount

Trans stopped bouncing around for certain, fit easily no issues there. Make sure your car can handle the extra torque transferring to the rear differential though. I have a 275/55R17 109V (340AA) Dunlop SP Sport 5000 running 18psi each. My 3.42 Richmond ring gear only held up 2 days after this and a torque arm bushing upgrade. I only have a 7.5" ring gear with an Auburn carrier but I still ripped 4 teeth off all the same. Simply put, I say it takes the drive train loss out and gets it to the rear for sure.

Be aware you're stock rubber mount has probably settled. I have a 91 Camaro with only 39,000 and when I put this in it raised the back of the engine and transmission up at least an inch or more! If you have third gen camaro or firebird this is a necessity. I also recommend upgrading the torque arm bushing. Way better reliability as this design cannot separate due to its great design.

Installed in just a few minutes- super easy. On a 1988 GTA Trans Am, the bolt supplied with this mount is slightly larger than the slot in the crossmember- which required a couple minutes with a hand file to open up a tiny bit.

Did nit come with all the hardware. Product depicts 2 bolts, and 2 lock washers. I received one bolt with one lock washer....also was supposed to be here December 30, didn’t arrive until January 4th.

The product itself is great, but I received it with only 1 bolt lol
