Nice Shoe but..
I love this shoe, good quality, looks great, and it has more a little more padding than the Converse. As an older guy/musician who stand at gigs for hours, it's a little painful for me to wear these for a 5 hour gig. Why? Still not enough padding for me and very little arch support. Adding an insert really helps me.

Good for lifting
Always wanted a pair of PF flyers. I use them as lifting shoes. Fit great. Alittle rubbing on the heel but after they break in it should be fine. Great shoe.

Love My Flyers!
Great pair of sneakers. I use them in a gym, and they give me the traction I need without any sticking. I also like the looks (very retro) and the feel. Great support, and comfortable. Only downside is the toe box being a little low on the toes. The width of the toe box is fine, but since toe end is hard rubber, rather than synthetic material or leather, there is no give over time.
