First time trying to curl my hair and very easy to use.Love love love this curling wand and the curls hold well.

I have very long, waist length hair and needed a new wand. I wanted to co clip-less because I was tired of strands of hair getting caught in the screw that attached the clip. I always pulled out too much hair. This wand got good reviews so I ordered it. The pros are: heats up quick, curls hair well even with lower temp setting, comes with heat-proof case and glove. For me the cons are as I'm winding my hair around it keeps slipping down the barrel. Even if I try to get it tight enough it sort of slips and therefore unwinds a bit. Also it's hard to get the very ends wound around just because of this AND the glove makes you lose your grip at the very end and I wind up having straight ends for about an inch. ON the plus side I only need to set it to 300-310 and it literally curls in seconds. They last for days because I don't wash my hair every day. They loosen up by day 2 and 3 but still look great with large waves. I guess I need to just practice more to get the ends to stay on the barrel. If you're good at using clip-less wands this is a great one. If you're new to it there is a definite learning curve.

This product exceeded my expectations, I usually use a 3/4 gold barrel (Hot tools) to curl my hair that I have loved for years. I have also experimented with many other wands from professional brands to generic brands. Overall my hair naturally, is completely straight, fine, with moderate amount of hair but no body at all. So I have always had troubles getting my hair to hold curls. This product does a marvelous job. The long barrel makes it easy to get all my hair wrapped around. The barrel is not round but more of an oval shape which really helps with the beach/messy wave effect and it was hot enough to get my hair to curl. The wand is very elegant and professional looking as well. It is lighter then my normal curling wand and feels kinda of cheap plastic. But it worked amazing. Also the digital screen shows you the temperature while it heats up, so there is no need to guess when to start curling. Overall it is very easy to use and works great. I bought this wand solely for use while I’m Germany because I was confused about converters and adapters and if it would actually work, so I opted to buy a curling wand that was 100-240v, so I won’t have to worry about converting and burning my hair off. But after testing it out I think I have a new favorite wand! Will update how it works during my trip.Update: two days later after working a 12 hour shift, sleeping and working out, curls are still beautiful! (See picture with pink shirt)

WOW! WOW! WOW!I cannot speak highly enough of this curling wand. First let me preface this by saying that I suck at doing my own hair. I always have. My hairstyle has consisted of straightening my hair with a flat iron for the last 10 years and calling it a day. I gave up on curling irons because there was not enough product out their that would help me hold my curls for any length of time. Usually they'd be gone before I even left the house.All that has changed since I ordered this on a whim. This curling wand is easy to use, even for us that are hair-challenged. I didn't need to watch any videos or spend hours on pinterest looking for how-to's to get this to work. I read the instructions that came with it, plugged it in and BAM - just like that I finally achieved that curly-beach-wavy look I've wanted. If I can use this and get it to work, then anyone can.Also, I was so pleasantly surprised that I did not need one ounce of hair spray, gel or any other styling product to get my curls and waves to stay all day. They last ALL day. I've slept on them and still had wavy hair in the morning. I've even gone to the gym and came out with still wavy hair (albeit a bit sweaty).Now I should also mention that this came in a beautiful box. I was shocked this wasn't a $100 wand for the way it was presented. It will make a great gift for someone (including yourself).

This is easily the BEST curling product I’ve ever owned. I have hair that just doesn’t stay curled. No matter how much hairspray and product I use, I usually have lifeless hair a few hours after curling my hair. In fact, I usually joke that it looks like I straightened my hair when I curl it, because my hair sucks that much!Well this curling wand is such a great product that exactly how I styled my hair in the morning is how my hair looked after a 14 hour day at work, in and out of the soggy Florida humidity. I even slept on my hair and woke up the next day with bouncy curls! (The picture of the curls is after my 14 hour day of work and still fresh and curly!)This wand is easily worth more than the $20-$30 price range it is listed at. It comes in a very nice magnetic clamp box. Inside the box, there is a a heat resistant zippered bag, which you could use for travel and when you need to stow the wand away when it hasn’t had time to cool down all the way. It comes with heat resistant gloves (which I haven’t used, but they are really nice quality and would be great for someone who needs it). The wand heats up quick!! In less than 2 minutes, I had a ready to use curling wand. It’s super easy to style and took me less than 20 minutes to curl my very thick mane.I am so happy with my purchase. I hope you are too!
