Great guitar. Poorly packaged.
The guitar arrived on time. Guitar arrived in one cardboard box from guitar manufacturer with little to hardly any styrofoam to keep the guitar from being damaged during transport. The bottom of the box was damaged. Luckily the guitar wasn't damaged. Guitar came properly setup. Really nice guitar from top to bottom. Beautiful white Preal finish, light weight, and thin bridge. Definitely recommend this guitar for beginners to even advanced players. Fells like a professional bass at an unbelievable price........I've purchased several guitars from Amazon and everyone was poorly packaged. Some had to be returned and replaced due to damage. Please double box your guitars and add extra styrofoam. To assure your product arrive safely. Or ship them in a soft guitar case.

Great bass for the money
This bass is a great beginner bass. It’s light weight and feels great in your hands. It plays better than many of beginner basses. That being said, all of that is true after a complete setup. Out of the box it is unplayable. This means it will need about $85.00 setup plus new strings. The strings it comes with are terrible. I gave it 5 stars because once setup it feels and plays like a much more expensive instrument.

awesome bass at a great price
this has to be one of the best buys ive made! plays awesome after a minimal amount of bridge set up(has a slight fret buzz ). super light action, the stock pick ups are just fine and has to be the LIGHTEST bass ive ever played...my old stage go to was an Aria Pro beast, thing probably weight clove to 30 lbs but had a super fat sound that was perfect for live, never wanted to use my 57 fender p bass for live shows!! i recently got back into playing and this bass paired with the Fender Rumble amp is absolutely perfect!!

Bass is good
My friends recommended me an ibanez bass and it’s so lovely and has a nice white pearl shine. It feels nice to hold and the slaps on this are satisfying. Can’t wait to get a strap and case for this

Needed setup but that was easy
I ordered the GSRM20 (short scale version of this) and was blown away with the playability, build and color (transparent red) and decided to purchase this one, the bigger (long scale) version. The GSRM20 just needed tuning and no other setup. This one, the GSR200 (transparent red) was unplayable out of the box. The truss rod was overtightened causing the strings to lay on the first fret. I had to loosen the truss rod (with the included allen wrench) a full turn which fixed that. No other adjustments needed besides intonation and new strings.Had I not known how to setup a bass (or even not knowing that a bass can be setup), I would have been very disappointed – I’m thinking a younger person who’s parents bought this for them. However, the good news is it’s super easy and I recommend “Make your bass play like a DREAM! (5 basic steps)”, it’s a long youtube video but it covers everything in good detail. In fact, I just learned how to setup a bass just a few weeks ago and am in the process of replacing a nut on a used Peavey.
