I purchased this set to use as extra hair towels for my bathroom, since I already purchased another brand of white towel with a set of hand towels, bath and washcloths and needed an extra towel; buying four was a bonus. I like using a separate towel just for my hair, and this one is great. It is a long thread/nap, and not a short nap like many other towels, so it looks as thirsty as it is. I also love the size, since they are long enough to wrap around my head, unlike others I have purchased that were so short that I had to put them to use as powder room hand towels. This towel is very absorbent and thick, unlike any other towel I have purchased in the past. I wish I had ordered only these towels in all the sizes, but I already bought another brand of 850 gm Turkish towels, unlike these 900 gram Egyptian towels . I actually like these much better. They are washing well and holding up great after each wash. I don't use fabric softener. That would decrease the absorbency, and these are nice and soft after coming out of the dryer.4/12/13 I am adding this after washing the towels several more times. They did not shrink for me. I bought them in white. I wash them in warm water in a one year old Speed Queen top loader washer that is not the low water consumption kind (such as newer LG, etc. that use minimal water and have glass lid) I wash them on the knits setting (not gentle) which on this washer means a slower wash spin cyle with a fast spin dry. That is my personal preference. I also dry them on low heat for the longest time/most dry setting. I dry everything I own on low heat.I know from the repairman (my dryer made noise, not washer problem) that many of the new washers spin so rapidly that clothes actually come out in knots. He has seen many of these complaints, though not with my type which is more of the old-fashioned design but with stainless, etc. (I am not a spokesperson for this washer but owned a Maytag for a very long time prior to this one.) They (the newer less water designs in top loaders, etc.) can be very rough on clothing, etc. I am not saying others' complaints may be related to their particular brand of washer, but in my case I have had no shrinkage problems and no fraying issues, etc. I just wanted to clarify my particular care of these towels in relation to my review.They are thick, absorbent towels. They don't have any velvety look to them or anything. They look like a very thick terry cloth and they are very nice so far.

Towels for the bathroom. Heavy and thick, but slow to dry. Go ahead and put them on 'Hot' or you will be drying towels for hours. They will shed lint like crazy for the first several drying times. Be sure to keep your lint trap cleaned out. Do not use fabric softener or dryer softener sheets. They are soft enough without it. Make sure they get dry between showers. Washcloths and hand towels are nice, too. Have not noticed any ravels or pulls.I'm happy.

I picked this set because it was so much cheaper than the other colors in the same towels. Turned out great! Love the size, feel & price.

They feel and look wonderful. Sadly, I was not able to keep them because the color was not quite right for my bathroom.

I had purchased two of these towels about 4 years ago from another brick-and-mortar retailer. I wish I had gotten more. The towels were thick, heavy and absorbent. To my surprise, I found the same towels on Amazon. I ordered two in the 'toast' color. Matched my shower curtain exactly. Will definitely by more.

These are very nicely made towels, a very generous size with a decorative Border. However, I ordered the color brick and they are absolute Scarlett Valentines red. I got them to match my cat hand towel. I can’t use these in the bathroom. They are so red they make everything in the room turn red, it’s really obnoxious color for a towel. I would’ve returned them however I washed them before I hung them. I would not recommend these towels unless you want towels that nowhere resemble the color brick.

All my bathroom towels are Superior brand. They are thick, soft, and luxurious feeling. My slight disappointment with this set is that they aren't the tea rose color in the picture. They are a lighter dusty pink color.

Not only do I love the rich color, the feel is amazing and size is perfect. I don’t have a dryer so there was a lot of fluff that remained on my body and sheets after the first wash. I vacuumed and the problem was solved. I also love that I could purchase just one set. I highly recommend this brand. How long they last remains to be seen but so far I am thrilled.

Las toallas secan bien e incluso no sueltan ninguna pelusa. Compré estas toallas negras porque quería que hicieran juego con una toalla de manos que tengo. En primera, el color negro no es tan fuerte, parece un gris obscuro opaco. En segunda, compré la toalla de 900 gramos, pero siento que no es tan gruesa como en otros comentarios que leía antes de comprarlas. Yo estuve en Egipto y compré toallas más gruesas, por eso me confié. Aún no las he lavado para saber si sueltan mucho color.Ya las lavé y no sueltan nada del color. He visto otras toallas que quizá tengan más color, pero sueltan mucha pelusa. Estas toallas en realidad, son de mucha calidad, no sueltan ni una pelusa, gruesas y secan perfectamente a la primera. Por eso cambié el número de estrellas. Con el tiempo se reconoce que ya no puedo vivir sin mis toallas negras afelpadas.

Estas toallas para manos son de las mejores que he comprado en la vida. Tengo casi 2 años y medio con ellas y se han mantenido bastante bien en color y tela. Cabe señalar que el grosor de estas toallas si es bastante bueno y realmente se sienten gruesas. Y así se han mantenido! Recomendadas!

There were weaving flaws in 3 of the towels. They should have been designated as 'seconds' and were returned for a refund.

These towels are awesome.I would say they are 5 star hotel quality.The gray color appears even and consistent. No snags or loose stitching.They are highly absorbent and soft to the touch.The washcloths are large and substantive.I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone.I am looking to get more of these myself.
